Absolutely love this time of the year when you make your Halloween videos of what’s in the shops! Reminds me of when I was younger. Halloween wasn’t really a big thing in the 80s, it was more about Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes and going penny for the guy to get money for fireworks! Usually a week before Halloween, and usually only in say the sweet shop or the corner shop you’d get a selection of plastic masks with an elastic band to go around the back of your head and a few other other bits like face crayons, false teeth and fake blood. We never had pumpkins, instead we would make a lantern out of a turnip. I can still smell the turnip being warmed by the candle. I’m still a bonfire night fan but loved the Halloween I had as a kid in the 80s! Still can’t believe how quick it’s come around again! Brilliant as always!
Oooh a nice few bits there! A few bits I'd like, but sensibly probably only a couple I'll try and get. I'll call in tomorrow to see if there's any kitty and dracula buckets left🤞 I picked up the Dracula and Frankenstein books along with Phantom of the Opera, and Jekyll and Hyde from Blackburn TKMaxx. They were nice and cheap at least😊 (Mostly just cushions, blankets and cups in mine but a decent start, no globes or ceramics yet)

It has come around really quick this year, I remember the 80s at Halloween too when a bin bag would make 90 percent of all costumes 😁 good times 👍
