I love this cathedral and even though i am not a christian i still go in every single time im down in truro to light a candle for loved ones who have departed. it really is a beautiful place inside and out and as for truro its what makes it. :) this is why ill never leave truro again.
Thanks so much for that lovely video. I live on the other side of the Atlantic now, funnily enough inTruro, Nova Scotia, Canada, but always miss home - Cornwall. Always visited the Cathedral whenever I was in Truro. Its a beautiful well kept city.
From the date, I would guess that the rows of grey chairs were set out for the annual Stainer 'Crucifixion' sung by members of parish church choirs from all over Cornwall! Emphasises the extra dimension of visiting when music/worship taking place - then you'll really see what a Cathedral is all about!
