Thanks guys. Honestly I almost never write raps. Usually only a few times a year. For this one, I closed my eyes and imagined the life of a samurai. His family. And his duty to protect his village. Really got into character. The story kinda unfolded in my imagination, and I just made it rhyme. I don't know much about structure or any techniques.

If anyones reading this one thing you can do is rhyme with a word as much as possible. For example: hit,tit mit, fit. THen you can progress to multi-syllable words, for example: letter better, weather; and just do this as long as possible without stopping at a tempo you wish to choose.

That sounds pretty dope actually. I take 5 minutes a day and practice freestyling. I'm going to try using that to improve.
