It always bugs me when people leave things in packages. I feel it wastes them when many people would want them to play with and many kids don't have a lot and they're wasting it instead of actually using it.🤦🏻♂️
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 but it's not a waste, it is for their enjoyment. A different kind of enjoyment than playing with a toy, but their kind. There's no rule on how you have to use a toy.

Edit: I looked into it, it seems to have been a flare up of a previous eye injury. The doctor said it’s just something that can happen on random for him now.
He mentioned during the podcast that it started feeling weird during reactions and after sleeping it became redder

Eric know the smell of everything in his collection, the box sizes and the scratches in the boxes and how he knows the weight.
Disabling one sense and relying on two / three others isn't really impressive. I would be impressed if he was blindfolded and didn't touch it or smell it and weight it in his hands. Try it again with similar shapes and similar weights. I bet you he'll guess right, but wrong products.
Strictly unboxed figures would've been more fun, IMO. Especially smaller ones. And this has little to do with my distaste for toys forever left in their box. 😏 *Edit:* _Be sure to box up that new Razor Crest and put it away._ 😐

@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 One might, *repeat:* _might,_ be able to lessen my ire for keeping them in the packaging by noting many have a window. But he has some larger items, settings and ships, in boxes that may as well just be empty. 🤷🏼♂️🥴
That said, I want to make something clear to those reading, I certainly have nothing against *Eric.¹* We may disagree, but he has always appeared a truly decent human. And if this seems to make him happy, so be it. I just find the act terribly irksome and even sad. But that's a _ME_ thing.

@@baokachi9767 Well yeah, but if you buy something, because e.g. you love Star Wars then you don't want to sell it afterwards. And if e.g. like Eric, you are so excited that Hasbro is making Razor Crest and it's so beautiful and you buy it, but then you decide to never see it because you keep it in box, it's pointless in my opinion. But maybe it's just me and for me the definition of being worthy means something else than money

@@dominikstasiak4247 i agree to a point but for me personally, i like to leave them in their original packaging too. I like to display mine and don't intend on opening them to play with them, it's more for display purposes.

How is it not a passion collection because I prefer my figures hanging in boxes so I can admire the figures in the boxes instead of having them scattered loose on a shelf to fall over?
