there is no startegy. Just try and test what works for you. Start with the one which you like the most and then try that for 2 to 3 months Spend time and dive deep into that. If you dont find it interesting and think you cannot do it for long term then switch and try the next one and then repeat. I am sure by doing this you will find the one with which you resonate the most. After you find it, persue that and if you want to do job, do it in that field. Now keep learning but this is not the end. Now you have to master one field but again you will have to start gaining knowledge of other fields. This will help you in fast growth

Simple answer is No if you talk about it globally. However, more than 50 percent companies in India still prefer MBAs for managerial or leadership roles. After 4 to 5 years of job, MBA can be beneficial in comparison to someone who does it right after bachelors, because you already have had hands on experience. Now when you say higher position, I am assuming you are talking about leadership roles. If you are talking about only positions then In India many small or medium scale companies can have a manager without MBA but their payscale is low. But large scale can pay you well with an MBA. Said that, On the other hand I have met people globally who haven't done MBA, but acquired project management skills and were passionate about that and now they are in leadership roles or managers. Following is my belief if this can give you a perspective: I always believe that you should be calculative in the decision of doing an Mba. Calculate the high fees with the rate with which your salary will return you in future. I will only do it if I think there is no other option to gain those skills. Because I have so many options to gain skills whether while doing a job or making your own smal firm, or doing courses to upskill, hence, I will never choose MBA even after knowing that I will not be eligible for 50 percent companies and I will miss out those opportunties. So we have to see whether high fees and time spent on doing MBA is worth or not. For me its not worth spending 20-25 lacs and 2 years. I might stary a smal business and gain those skills. I can do so many courses with that money. I can write so many big online papers related to industry with that money. Basically I can get skilled by self. I can read more. Hence, I know that I will gain those skills but I will target the rest 50 percent who wants my skills instead of a degree. That's my views only and I will never put my views on you. But I hope you get an idea. Said that: Things can be different for someone getting a scholarship or getting a reputed collegr where possibility of you getting placed in a big firm is high.

Ab ek aur cheez hoti hai which some specific company ask for that is portfolio where you have to gather all raw information of your work like numbers, designs, content etc. But ye rare scenario hai. Mostly employers see these on your resume. Jaise lets suppose 1. you worked on a project where as a fresher you got 1k sessions on a page, you have to write that. Or, 2 You worked on content, then mention some specific article links that are published online. Or, 3. Social pages pe kaam kiya, to uski organic reach ke numbers display karo.or, 4. you worked on a paid camp. agar lead generation tha to kitni leads aai, ya website visits kitni aai. Ye sab hona chaiye resume pe. BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT FAKING ANYTHING. Interview ke time bhut baar dashboards dikhane pad sakte hain ya screenshots ya files etc. So fake to bilkul nhi karna hai, bas wahi likhna hai jo kiya hai and unko quantifiably likhna hai. There is no way you can earn more quickly in either of those fields. You need to keep patience and work on your skills for first 1 to 2 years. Both are different fields and both have good scope but you need to be focused on one of those only to become good in one thing. Digital marketing is a good option but it has nothing to do with graphoc designing. You are wasting your time learning that.

Yes you can start obviously at any age. Everything is possible but things take time and efforts. Don't get into this field because you have seen someone on TH-cam who is only showing you the glorified side of this SMMA industry. Also, understand the reality that not many have crossed that target. 1Cr in profit means that atleast you should have a revenue of 10Cr-15Cr. Reality is that only 0.1% can make to that revenue and that too in 3-4 yrs. I will suggest you to focus on learning initially and set an realistic target for yourself. I am not demotivating you but I don't want to be the one who shows you fake reality like many others in this industry.

Digital Marketing mein bhut se log alag alag graduation karke aate hain. If talking about myself even I am from a Btech background. To graduation koi bhi chal jaati hai agar digital marketing ki practical knowledge achi hai to. But ek aur chee ye hai ki digital marketing mein kuch industries mein specific graduation mangte hain jaise tech based kuch companies mein Btech wala mangte hain ya media based companies mein MassCom. wala mangte hain. But because you have reached out to me, I will try to answer your question. So, simply it is Yes, you can transit at this age but you will have to be prepared that its not gonna be easy because you might be having experience in a completely different area. Now second part of the question about AI: AI will definitely change the way we work now and not just in digital marketing but in many other fields like IT, coding, SaaS industry it will automate a lot of things that currently is managed by a group of individuals. Therefore, yes it will eat some jobs. But this technology is something that is a part of country wide business and it is not in our control. But what I will say is that there is a lot of content available for free on google and youtube that if someone spends a few months on it, can learn it. But most important thing is to learn practically by doing that by self. Like making own website or blog or social page. there is no startegy. Just try and test what works for you.
Start with the one which you like the most and then try that for 2 to 3 months Spend time and dive deep into that. If you dont find it interesting and think you cannot do it for long term then switch and try the next one and then repeat.
I am sure by doing this you will find the one with which you resonate the most.
After you find it, persue that and if you want to do job, do it in that field.
Now keep learning but this is not the end.
Now you have to master one field but again you will have to start gaining knowledge of other fields. This will help you in fast growth
Is mba in marketing or mba in digital marketing required in digital marketing field after 4-5 years of job experience, and if looking for higher position??
Simple answer is No if you talk about it globally.
However, more than 50 percent companies in India still prefer MBAs for managerial or leadership roles.
After 4 to 5 years of job, MBA can be beneficial in comparison to someone who does it right after bachelors, because you already have had hands on experience.
Now when you say higher position, I am assuming you are talking about leadership roles.
If you are talking about only positions then
In India many small or medium scale companies can have a manager without MBA but their payscale is low. But large scale can pay you well with an MBA.
Said that,
On the other hand I have met people globally who haven't done MBA, but acquired project management skills and were passionate about that and now they are in leadership roles or managers.
Following is my belief if this can give you a perspective:
I always believe that you should be calculative in the decision of doing an Mba. Calculate the high fees with the rate with which your salary will return you in future. I will only do it if I think there is no other option to gain those skills. Because I have so many options to gain skills whether while doing a job or making your own smal firm, or doing courses to upskill, hence, I will never choose MBA even after knowing that I will not be eligible for 50 percent companies and I will miss out those opportunties.
So we have to see whether high fees and time spent on doing MBA is worth or not. For me its not worth spending 20-25 lacs and 2 years.
I might stary a smal business and gain those skills. I can do so many courses with that money. I can write so many big online papers related to industry with that money. Basically I can get skilled by self. I can read more.
Hence, I know that I will gain those skills but I will target the rest 50 percent who wants my skills instead of a degree.
That's my views only and I will never put my views on you. But I hope you get an idea.

Things can be different for someone getting a scholarship or getting a reputed collegr where possibility of you getting placed in a big firm is high.

And current company mein bhi nhi milegi aisi opportunity directly. Current comp. mein logo se baat karo, dost banao, network karo, and unke sath dheere dheere seekho. Unko kuch value do, and fir wo return mein time denge. It is all about how you communicate and win people.
Aise shuru karo and sath mein padna shuu karo, kisi ek cheez se shuur karo jo interest deri hai, SEO or Paid like Google ads ya Fb ads Or Analytics. Choose one and start reading and watching videos.
Then sath sath apni job ke, Best hai ki khud apni site banao and uspe practically sab karo taki kuch resume mein add karke job switch kar sako.
Ek dum se kuch nhi hoga but 6months to 1yr mein aap switch kar paoge gradually.

See, you have to have two things. One is your resume and one is your Linkedin profile. Make those look alike. Ab ek aur cheez hoti hai which some specific company ask for that is portfolio where you have to gather all raw information of your work like numbers, designs, content etc. But ye rare scenario hai. Mostly employers see these on your resume. Jaise lets suppose
1. you worked on a project where as a fresher you got 1k sessions on a page, you have to write that. Or,
2 You worked on content, then mention some specific article links that are published online. Or,
3. Social pages pe kaam kiya, to uski organic reach ke numbers display karo.or,
4. you worked on a paid camp. agar lead generation tha to kitni leads aai, ya website visits kitni aai. Ye sab hona chaiye resume pe.
BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT FAKING ANYTHING. Interview ke time bhut baar dashboards dikhane pad sakte hain ya screenshots ya files etc. So fake to bilkul nhi karna hai, bas wahi likhna hai jo kiya hai and unko quantifiably likhna hai.
This is what employers see and this is what they want.

There is no way you can earn more quickly in either of those fields. You need to keep patience and work on your skills for first 1 to 2 years.
Both are different fields and both have good scope but you need to be focused on one of those only to become good in one thing.
Digital marketing is a good option but it has nothing to do with graphoc designing. You are wasting your time learning that.

Yes you can start obviously at any age. Everything is possible but things take time and efforts. Don't get into this field because you have seen someone on TH-cam who is only showing you the glorified side of this SMMA industry. Also, understand the reality that not many have crossed that target. 1Cr in profit means that atleast you should have a revenue of 10Cr-15Cr.
Reality is that only 0.1% can make to that revenue and that too in 3-4 yrs.
I will suggest you to focus on learning initially and set an realistic target for yourself. I am not demotivating you but I don't want to be the one who shows you fake reality like many others in this industry.

What is in our control is the way we achieve the highest amount of skills and beat this hefty competition. In the end the basics will not change, the master in particular subject will not change. People with high skills set will still be needed to control the AI environment and work with AI. All the existing insecurities can only be gone once we are confident on our basic skills. This is evolution and nobody knows that what's the limit and to how much extent will this technology go.
