It hits hard especially when u think that Ai was a star shining bright but then got murdered when she was only 20.
When a star collapses, it becomes a supernova, not a black hole. After that, it becomes either a red dwarf, or a white dwarf.

In an alternate Universe where the audience don't get heartbroken:
Stalker stabs Ai and she starts bleeding out. Aqua walks in and is traumatized to see this. But then Ai stops bleeding and all the blood on the floor is gone. The stalker is reaching his knife out to Ai's side, he had just missed. Then the stalker and Ai have a conversation and the stalker no longer wants to kill Ai. When Aqua looks at Ai's face, he notices that one of her eyes have gone blind. With his medical expertise, he realizes that this is permanent blindness but it's ok she still has her other eye.
