- Welcome back to the apothecary shop ! This "no talking video" is very similar to the RP, with herbal tea & potion making, which shall please all those who enjoyed the mixing parts (+ some new sounds 😀 ).

I used to pull weeds and make a pile of them, then I would get a bucket from the garage and mix dirt, wild strawberries, birdseed, and the weeds. I made pulling weeds actually harvesting potion ingredients!

You say that as if a huge chunk of existing ASMR content isn't some kind of RP or hobby demonstration...like even when excluding flashy themed videos with little substance
I agree that lots of creators have a habit of ignoring the realism factor and taking a hot moment to shove sounds in your face but those are far from being the only kind available
ASMR [the road that even a gps cannot find] is another asmr channel I can recommend you! They're a small channel, I feel she deserves more views!
I sometimes like a very little tapping, depending on the subject and objects being used, because it might be something I myself would do. After all, ASMR was started because people realized that certain sounds made them feel calm. Like that tapping you so quickly dismiss.
So, who didn’t fall asleep during the vials filling scene ?
Note : I know some of you were disturbed by the fact I didn’t rince/change my dropper before using the next
ingredient… Be warned, I did it again ! 😄

All this was missing was an old set of scales with a bunch of little weights so you could measure your materials like a proper chemist

The best apothecary ASMR video I’ve seen. This apothecary needs to be a regular feature on your channel. You’ve put so much thought into the little details that make it so believable.

And here I thought I liked detailed explanations in asmr, “feel my fingers on your hair” sort of stuff... but this... every sound coming through so sharp and clear cause it is real and not just motions in air. I don’t need somebody telling me what’s happening cause the sounds do it all so well! God this is the good stuff I don’t need to see to enjoy. This is top quality.

Someone went to great effort to be historically accurate. I noticed the eye dropper had no squeeze bulb on it.
I'd say this is more fantasy than historical, but it does add to the immersion.

I love the repeated crinkles and instrument sounds so much, if you made a video of wrapping leaves in paper/playing with glass tools and liquid for any time even without the cinematic I would watch it around the clock. You have this way of not obviously trying to move quietly (as in, overly paying attention to asmr or the camera) and just moving and touching objects naturally, but you still make the best asmr sounds, and it's all so real and comforting I want to cry... I already love all the apothecary videos, I've watched them so many times and I still get tingles from every teensy sound...
Found this comment from more than one year ago, and yes I watch all sorting videos on this channel. Art supplies, sorting inkwells and bottles, the lens set, the sewing kit... I have a playlist of them that I put on repeat whenever I study. You probably won't see this but thank you so much Diane! 💕💕

Il y a très peu de vidéos ASMR avec autant de minutie sur le travail de "mise en scène" avec les changement d'angles de caméras qui permet de vraiment s'imprégner de l'atmosphère qui entoure ton "personnage" c'est bluffant... Enormément de travail de réalisation et de montage j'imagine ^^. Cette chaine mériterait d'être un peu plus vue sur le devant de la scène de l'ASMR sur TH-cam à mon avis.

I like to fall asleep to these videos at night, helps calm me down... hubby works 3rd shift (and unfortunately works somewhere that’s considered essential right now...) and we just moved to a new neighborhood last month so I’m not quite adjusted yet. Question: Do you just bake your paper while they are immersed in brewed tea? What is the technique you use?
Good question ! I use 2 kind of paper : a pack of printable "antique" paper (I just make the sheets look dirtier using water, ink stains, melted wax...), and some white sketchbook sheets that I immerse in coffee, yes :) Then I crumple / tear them a little bit.
@@MoonlightCottageASMR Very cool! I should consider switching from tea to coffee. In my mind it would produce a stronger look? I need this for player hand-out cartography in my fantasy adventure games. Thanks for sharing (also amazing work!)
Ack Coffee does create a stronger look but I recommend playing with ratio of coffee to water, and possibly use it sparingly on certain pieces as it can overwhelm what ever you wrote on it, but overall a great technique!
I find using instant coffee in a concentrated mix in a spray bottle works very well when going for the effect. Especially if you use crumpled brown paper from bags.
