    The best way to use Fibonacci numbers in trading is by using harmonic patterns.

    Nice vid...but i think the most important part is to know when to ENTER or to EXIT from a trade using the Fibbonaci... Keep on going, good job... :)

      Hi,
      confluence just means that you combine different signals to form a more robust trade idea.

    In my opinion, whenever price reaches a certain fibonnaci level, the price action needs to be checked in that area, which may tell whether price will move pass that fibonnaci level or bounce away from that level.

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes. A fibonacci level alone is not enough but it's a good confluence.

    Thanks for this nice video. Pls what exactly is the difference between Fibonacci extension & retracement. I believe it's the same tool, am I write to read those number under 100 fib level as retracement and ones above 100 fib level as extension ?

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is the same tool, just different levels.

    Question: Is using Fib on one timeframe as oppose to another of any importance ? (e.g intraday vs daily vs weekly )

      Hello Jack,
      the higher timeframes do carry more weight.

    Nice strategy, can i use this scalping, if it fit for scalping so which time frame & which currency are best for it.

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. You can try it but Fibonaccis are not a standalone trading strategy. They are just a good confluence tool.

  • @useruser_notinuse
    @useruser_notinuse 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'm not used to it that way... you're using FIbs extensions instead of retracement

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Correct. I personally believe that the extension tool is more valuable.

    looks to me like your drawing your fibo the wrong way round...........

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you want to use the Fibonacci extensions, that;s the only way you can use the Fibonacci tool.
      Also, Fibonaccis are % based so regardless of how you draw them, the results will always be the same ;)

    • @gursimersingh923
      @gursimersingh923 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is the another way to draw Fib, usually we draw fib mainly for retracements but we can draw it in this way also for extensions and reracements too.
      As Rolf said Fib is % based so if we draw it as same as shown in this video then 76.4% is equivalent to 23.6%, 61.8% is 38.2%, 50% is same in both ways, 38.2% is 61.8% and 23.6% is 76.4%.

    • @Tradeciety
      @Tradeciety  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the clarification, Gursimer. Couldn't have said it better ;)

      Actually the levels are correct, but it is more useful to use the inverse of the displayed numbers because for example retracing back to the level 61.8 would be 38.2, therefore I would just flip the order of the retracement levels to make more sense because the amount of retracement is what I'm used to. but like you said it doesn't matter. It just depends on what you were taught . I understand, therefore either way is correct
