I am disappointed with this video, showing the people on the island of Australia as one of the richest countries, to depict the SDGs. If one knows how the Australian government deliberately limits these indigenous people from their rights, one will understand the reality hidden behind all these motos of the United Nations. It is a shame to use those poor people's situations to illustrate how you are going to help them.
This is a very biased video I have ever seen! Not everyone in PNG living a life like this. The videographer was very selective in his/her interview and recording.
They have to be. Because, what will they do showing the lives of rich? Their lives are already rich and fulfilled. We need to focus on the lives of the poor and do our part on improving their lives. Such videos are made to make people aware of what's happening and work towards bettering the situation. Such mindset has to be changed. I accept the UN is not such a great and corruption-free organisation. But regardless of that, we need to co-operate and work together to do our part in improving the lives of the poor, whether under the programme of the UN or not.
My province ,Bougainville was in conflicts for 10years from 1989-1998.but now Bougainville is more developed compare to this provinces who supposed to be developed long time ago.

I'm inclined to agree with you but you have to understand that in a society, where certain cultures encourage some men to live a polygamous lifestyle, and where contraceptives aren't a necessity on the list of things they need in order to survive the day (if it is even available in the area) things aren't always that simple.
People do not fool yourselves with these videos the rest of the world would be living the exact same way if it wasn't for hardworking people that made their societies what they are today. Hard work creates prosperity. I blame the people of Africa for Africa being what it is today.
