Hello can you please confirm the keyboard can be used with ISO keycaps set. As claimed on their website. Does it mean the pcb iso both ISO and AINSI ? In their promo video... : able to receive 9 different keycaps set with 9 different layout

Seeing this in use is giving me some real Macintosh Portable vibes.

I've recently moved to a dedicated office ( from working at home )
I had a bench with 2 24" monitors on for repairs
saw another content creator demo the DopesPlay LaptopDock ( looks like a laptop behaves like the kwumsy) and now I have 2 of those on the bench instead. much better use of the physical bench real estate and no forgetting which keyboard or mouse is for which machine
great video, as usual. Stay well

So... it's a usb 3 terminal. But also an expansion dock, and touchscreen.
I'm all for having a vertical display setup, but I need it in win10 and window dragging is completely unusable in win10 with vertically stacked displays. I don't know how you guys tolerate it, or is there some tool and key combos I'm missing?

This is not supposed to be a real secondary display, this is like a tertiary monitor used for communication apps, media controls or an information display and you're not really dragging windows into it all the time but stuff you want to have up constantly. I agree multimonitor is kind of ass on windows though.

Windows definitely has ... a lot of quirks lol. But usually I just keep Discord and Mail open on the bottom and don't move them. But it's also useful for things like OBS controls and other auxiliary windows of a main program.

Good video, other than drawing in MS paint did you find a use for a touchscreen? I prefer a tablet for drawing and then sync it to my PC

I don't actually use the touch bit much. The screen though is very useful.

@apalrdsadventures Maybe it could be used a nice stream deck alternative. I usually work on a laptop docked to a screen I will only open the laptop if gnome virtual displays are not enough, At work I have a 3 screen setup because it is a copy of power plant operator station then need the screens keeping the overview an other screen for operating the plant

This is a great review! no bs, just telling it like it is and how it works in a variety of your workflows. great job!
I could see this device being great for quite a few people, but I immediately saw the lack of a number pad and knew it wouldn't be for me. also it looks like the cursor keys and extended edit/nav keys are kind of clumped... I've tried and just couldn't get behind these truncated keyboards. I do like the idea of having a small display on the keyboard and think it could work out great, and I do really like the way the volume knob/button works and it's port replication capabilities... I'm not sure why anyone would ever want to hook up an nvme drive over usb, but I suppose that's there too (usb is just too slow and unreliable for very high speed data storage). it's a niche device, and while clearly it isn't for me, I can absolutely see the appeal for folks who would be into it.

There is a verfsion with a numeric keypad that might suit you, the Kwumsy K1

@@MrIanPrestonappreciate the direction, but that layout would bug the heck out of me. I'll stick to my beloved IBM Model M.

Bought a K3. Display won´t work but touch is doing just fine :S. Support leave much to wish for. Anyone else having similar problems?

I found that the display will power off after about 30 seconds with no input and not turn back on unless power cycled.

12 F keys combined with 3 other keys, Shift, Alt and Ctrl. That is 4 x 12 = 48 shortcuts. I proposed this keyboard + touch screen years ago, and now it may exist. I proposed that different programs could make an eTemplate to use with each program. Now someone has stolen my idea, but I don't care.
