At 4:20 (yeah.... :] ), when he said, "R5"... I was like, "nah... can't be THAT R5". R5 was originally chosen by Uncle Owen in Ep IV, but his motivator blew out, which allowed C3PO to recommend R2D2. You know, some say R5 has Jedi powers, and blew his motivator on purpose, to make sure R2 got to Obi Wan.

Gideon’s helmet is reminiscent of the cult of Mandalorians that followed Darth Maul in the Clone Wars. They modified their helmets to have horns like Maul did. The red guards that killed Paz and that Grogu & Mando took care of are called Praetorian Guards. 18:57 it’s missing a garage for him to tinker.
I loved the finale! Grogu with his Force Fire Protection and clutch saves for Din Djarin were amazing. And I loved that Din finally adopted Grogu formally. Really nice.
this season was a little all over the place, but I think it did it in a good way. While still keeping the core about our mandalorian, we get to see the state of the galaxy at this time.
So... apparently, this finale got some major changes at the lasts second, according to leaks from before it aired. Originally, Boba Fett was supposed to be among the Mandalorians who showed up as backup. - He may or may not have also brought his Rancor, and should have wielded the Darksaber and become the new symbol of the Mandalorians. - I believe this was changed because 1) Disney didn't want to make Boba as badass as he was in Legends, and 2) takes away from Bo-Katan's arc. The Darksaber may be destroyed, but it's very possible the Kyber crytsal within it is fine. It could theoretically be used to create a new Darksaber.
Sorry for the three day long delay, guys and girls! Satiysfying ending there. I Hope there Will be no unnecessary spin-offs or more Seasons. Don't get me wrong here, I like the Show and Emme' s intelligent, thoughtfull and funny content, but if we could avoid another sequel scenario I would be glad. So Groghu is partially a puppet and partially CGI likely depending on what he is doing. (They usually green screen the puppeteer out who generally is behind him.
I felt the moment with Grogu and the mythosaur was definitely them sensing each other. Hopefully some sort of tease to the idea of Grogu being the next great Mand'alor to tame one
I’m hoping it’ll be Din. It was kinda hinted in season 1 episode 1 when he tamed the two legged creatures(I forget the name) at Quill’s house. It’d be a cool callback

This is the way. Plus I did hear that Pedro didn't do any of the physical acting, just the voice work, because he was busy shooting The Last of Us. I haven't looked further into that to work out if it's true or not, but it would certainly prevent them from showing Din removing his helmet.
Bittersweet that you're mostly caught up with Star Wars stuff for now but I've enjoyed seeing your reaction to it all... maybe you can squeeze in Episodes 7-9 after Ahsoka is done 🤞🙏😎

A good two part finale, but it dosent make up for the rest of the season being so bland unfortunately. Apart for this finale i feel like they just didn't know what to do with this season overall, lots of filler and no real focus. its a shame.
