I saw these guys when they were the Rainbow Butt Monkeys. They played in the upstairs lounge at the old Carleton Place arena just after their first album came out. There was probably 15 people there. The band had so much energy on that little raised stage, it was amazing. They even played Back in Black, their sound was so heavy and thick.
I saw F11 at McMaster University (Hamilton Ontario) in 2000. They played at this dinky campus bar called "the John" with tickets sold @ $11. "The Greyest of Blue Skies" had just come out, I bought the album used at a flea market on campus. I only knew two song by them back then, first time and above. Those were the first and last songs they played ouch hehe. So sad I didn't try to meet the band after the show for a picture or to get something signed.
