For the "at the club since..." players I don't release them or do the save option I just immediately put them on the transfer market and sell them. Even if it's for 200k - 500k you're still getting money and it helps with some of those youth objectives depending on the club.
fifa really needs to sort this youth academy shit out. it's horrible. there's 80 rated cbs that are faster than real life wingers. . . id also like to see an under 23 squad you can put them in n then get stats on their assists, goals, blah blah through out their season(s) there. unrealistic to expect to play them in the first squad 10 matches a season or whatever.
Try playing 2nd seasson with Atlethic bilabo and you have crucial - get 1 youth academy player by 10+ overall and AFTER that play them in 10 matches as starting eleven or as a sub. europa league ( crucial) - Reach the Final Domestic (crucial) - Finish in a champions league place... well lets just say that my manager rating was faking 59 at the end... :D

I think too its cheating and not needed to save before returning, cause you get easily 4 to 5 huge talents per season without saving and just let them bring regular reports..which in my opinion is unrealistic enough..
I agree, I tend to just let it have it's course, I get enough good players. This must just be for people that want amazing players quickly, no challenge in their career.
Tobey the Mobey Slater what I do is I have a maximum of a 4 star 4star scout so it doesn’t come in with too many good players, and to keep it realistic.
I always sign 15 yrlds at a club like Arsenal because It's worth keeping them in but make sure their potential is 70-94 but you can loan glitch youth players when they hit 16 aswell .
I think EA should add a separate youth academy training instead of having your actual team and your youth academy team train in one session because it unrealistic because youth in real life have their own training and I have real players with high potentials that need training. Or maybe even just add more than five slots Also just subbed
I LOVE career mode bc of scouting. I use it to make Plymouth Argyle dominant in Europe (currently Defending my 2 Champions League Titles & 2 PLs titles on Ultimate mode. Its legit) so a couple notes: ALWAYS TRAIN RARELY SIM (you’ll see below) Countries: best, BY FAR, Finland & Slovenia. Been that way since FIFA 15; its got to be an inside joke at EA bc theyre like cheat-coded. Seriously try them. That said in Africa Cote D'Ivoire is the most juiced. I have a 21 YO striker from there who is a 91 at present, GK (back up) is 18 or 19 and he is 84. Finland you get Strikers, CBs CDMs and Wingers galore. on my team now, all 21 and younger, 2 CBs at 81, 1 at 85, CDM at 85, RW at 87, 19yo LM at 83. Slovenia GK 21 & is 94. Had to sell off 2 other bc they demanded game time bc they both got to upper 80s at 18/19 but he is better. Also CB at 85, RW at 84, RM at 84...I cn go on, and yes, I have gone crazy scouting those other countries, using a combo of your technique and ones I will list below and Im lucky if I find any worth nearly what I get in the big 2. Cote D'Ivoire, one you listed, is VERY VERY good and probably the next tier: I have quality back ups including a CB who is 18 and 81 w speed of 84! I keep training him race against the clock and those stats just keep rising,and I won the 2022 World Cup with them Never send a scout out on the 1st of the month as its also the update of your youth team stats. You could have a bad scout report but a youth player potential jumps from 70-94 to 88-94 and you have to undo that only to find next time he is a 71-91 instead. Separate scout reports from youth team reports. The 4th tends to be the most secure date as, for whatever reason matches rarely are on the 3rd. once match day passes you get the report and cannot reload and are stuck with whats on it Also, when reloading a save to check know that there is potential for a “great session”… the scout will return with multiple quality players. In Slovenia & Finland I can get ones where one player will come back 94-94 w 2-3 others that are at least starting at 74-94. Also, side note, as long as the 1st /low end of the potential starts in the 70s it can always go up. When you pull up a scouted player from the report you can see what his starting rating is from his value around $1m = 66, so if you get 1.6m hes gonna be a 68 and like here at 10:02 Balas shows 150m so you know hes gonna be a 57. That value never changes, unlike potential. With guys you pull up that are “showing great potential” or “exciting prospect” loan them out and bring them back and potential can go up. I actually did that with real player Alex Fletcher, who starts at Plymouth at age 18 as a 57. Right now he’s a 90 and THE BEST player Ive ever used. Again, I play on ultimate (I even crank AI GK to 100) and he just gets into the best positions, wonder strikes etc and its bc I used him, train him and loaned him ALWAYS TRAIN. Learning to do the training sessions levels your guys up faster. The only 2 that I SIM are advanced attacking and Advanced Defending (I can do it but fast to sim reload and try again). GK ones ae SUPER easy and you can crank out 90+ keepers but staying regular. The new running ones are awesome, lobbed through balls is an A very time, the volley one is simple…between those you can get As, or settle for Bs, every week. Your team will grow! If you are on twitter I can tweet you this roster. The only cheat I used was billionaire buy out in year one to buy scouts. That’s all. i usually search brazil, Argentina, italy and spain and been getting 93+ players with good work rates like high medium or high high and good weak foot/skill moves. another tip for me train a player that you want him to become good in for example you have a player that has 94 potential and only has good technical traits train his physical to level him up 3x or 4x then loan him for a 2 year contract he will come back with amazing technical and physical stats this works for anything you really want. if you dont the player will only improve his base stats, to branch it out you need to train his other stats and level him up before he hits 81 or 82. and do not over train your youth players they will get injuriy prone and he will be a waste of time even if hes 94 already he wont perform like one in sim matches. stop training players when they hit 80s let them level up naturally send them on loans and watch them grow if they dont do good on loans then you over trained your player
Just look the value of the player. 400.000 value will be around 61 overall. In my opinian you should promote them as soon as possible, because they get massive increase in the first team or you can put them in loan list
As for me, i prefer just leave them in the youth academy, even if their stats does not increase much, their hidden stats or stat that cannot be train does increase more than stats that can be train. We all know that some mental stats like composure, aggression, reaction and some technical stats like jumping, balance and acceleration cannot be train. So, from a lot of testing that I done, its better to leave them in the academy and just promote them when they demand to leave your academy if you did not promote them.
Another tip is to choose players that have a STAMINA rating similar (or close to) their overall average ratings. The reason for that is that your only training possibility for stamina is rated "Easy", so the progress will be very slow, and you won't be able to train that player's other attributes.

Why isn’t USA there I got a RW that was 18 and had him already to a 85 rated and a 2 years later to a 94 rated and also with a GK at 20 already 87 rated
the youth players actually need to DO SOMETHING!!! ANYTHING!!! Anything at all in the academy!!! I need a reason why the young promising 87-92 potential 15 year old left winger from Portugal that I can’t play yet is declining in potential. He’s not playing any game at all yet he keeps dropping in potential and he’s not yet old enough for me to call him up to the first team before his potential gets worse!!! This is a MUST FIX!!!!
It's not that their potential is declining, you get given an estimate of their potential so it's in this range, say 72-94 then each academy report narrows that range down meaning you get a better estimate, eventually down to say 81-87 so their potential is not declining just the estimate getting more accurate
I got a Morrocan CDM with Aerial Threat right off the bat. Then grew to a complete defender which is absolute wack! Tactician, Aerial Threat, Strength, Tackling
The one that show at the club since, don’t release them yet keep them in the youth academy cuz their stats will change, I would say only release players if youth academy is full and u need space to sign a better player or if he is threatening to leave and u don’t want him yet
I don't stagger the scouts but instead I look at them all at once and find one that's worth $1m+ cause I don't have time to wait for them to grow if they ever want to see the pitch. And any non "potential to be special" players get shipped off in loans and transfers, loan if I want them to brew a little to settle at a bigger price.
Don’t bother checking the potential, just check the value. Anything over 300,000 is worth picking up. I had one player who was 16 when scouted and had a value of of just over 1 million.
Personally I would rather have a search system like PES 2019 and without all this bloody scouting crap and have a ready made youth team I can plunder. Just fill an age type and transfer status (I.e. free or other) and make my bids. Oh and when scouting in Asia, the youth team look awfully European.....
try Finland and Slovenia...Im going to put a lengthy post on here, but trust me. I have tried those bigger name countries but nowhere comes close to Finland and Slovenia. Its like EA secretly juiced them. My starters are loaded with 18-21 year old players ranging from 80-94 from those 2 countries.

Question: I was unaware of how the youth academy worked to I promoted players to my first squad. Later I find out to keep them in the academy longer. Can I move players back to the YA? If not, what to do best?
@EROL Yayla honestly I don't know. I started a career with AS Roma and I was able to assign scouts. When they are signed to a area they will monthly report back scouted players which you can sign to your youth academy and later contract them. Once I also started a season with a Serie B team and I wasn't able to sign scouts. I checked the board assignments and they had no youth development expectations. So possibly the club boards expectancies opens up this part of the game, but not sure Hope this helps
How do I ensure I sign players with great stamina or how do I train their stamina? Stamina and speed are the most critical things in players I sign or nurture. Any suggestion on this?
one of the running ones does it, cant remember but I think its a bronze level, easy to do. CAMs almost NEVER have decent stamina. Its the worst position at finding ones that have any. Other than that its a bit of a crap shoot

When the report comes out with rubbish, I try to revert back to the old save and I do. But The Scouting Report comes back with the exact same players every time. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Are you “Loading” or “Continuing” Career when you reload. If the later the same players will appear. You need to reload. If you are, then trying Saving a couple of days before. 👍🏻

How do you always hire 5/5 star scouts? Whenever I look there’s not always one available, sometimes the best is a 4/5 or a 5/4. Do I need to sim an extra day or what?

You should choose the players by looking at the value. Sign any player with value of 500k and above and completely remove the rest of the player below it. The reason for this is because, even if the current rating is 60 and above, a player with value below 500k have lesser stats for anything other than 6 stats that determined the rating of said player. Even if the potential value is lower than 80, a 500k value player can be use as a swap bargain to buy players or sell them for easy cash. From what I foresee when looking at youth players, a rating of 60 with a value below 500k for position other than CM and CDM, their stamina is too low to be used and it required a lot more training. Stamina as we all know is a bronze training hence it will take almost a full season just to get a player to 70 stamina if you actually take those player with low value. This also reflect to other position, hence, to make your choice and life easier, just recruit players with value above 500k.
I've had that happen to me several times. I had a german LB that had 88-94 potential and he was 17 years old with his overall being 69 and he just left because he was in the youth for "far too long".
lol its coz there were two pages and coz my attention span is very small I missed it. I tried the first 3 countries and the highest overall was 56 and the highest potential was 76-84. That's probs just my luck.

My roommate thought I was cheating bc my team is all 80 and higher (couldnt find a godo CAM w stamina so I bought Bruno Fernandes and hes 28 now) and all 21 and younger. Its bc I train every session. Most important thing you didnt mention: whats the use of a defender which has low defensive ratio? I dont bodder with players like that even if they have the potential to be special. Thats my oppinion but your vids are amazing!

For next year i hope ea changes the youth system and at least do a u18 team with actual lineups where u need a certain amount of mids def gk and st and at least let us do more with our academy (practice games,make a youth league etc)
Can’t believe you sign a player after a 1 month review. I’m quite strict with signing youth, they have to have a potential of 94 after 5 months review. Save a lot of money that way and can also focus on training other players in the mean time.
Thanks to this video i have a full team of 94 potential players. I have an insane team, 1 of my CB’s is 95 rated now and most of my players are 90+ rated atm. It took me 6 seasons to create my team it’s just a shame that the gameplay this year is so bad so i can’t fully appreciate how good my team is.

FIFA CareerGems no but i think players above 100 000€ have better chance of higher potential than around 70 000€. This isn’t always true but most of the times it is.
I found 4 90+ potential player in Ireland, 3 wingers, highest ever in a 9 month scouting for me, I always find great players in countries that aren't in the list of top countries, the expensive countries are the worst for me, especially Spain.
Scouting is easy as cake. The value number is a dead giveaway when scouting new young players. If they are 15-16 with over $250,000 value they are guaranteed to be at least 84 overall potential. If its over $500,000 then you my friend have found yourself a wonderkid 90+ potential. It becomes tricky if the player is already 17 when your scout first reports him to you and i havent done any significant testing yet so ill be back with that later but for now it seems that a prospect who is 17 or older’s value rating has no impact on their potential due to age where as 15-16 year olds are still raw and their initial value is key in scouting them properly before signing them.

I used these tips and got a 17 British striker with a 91 to 94 and 8 seasons later he reached 92 and he is amazing also keep up the great work.

i usually search brazil, Argentina, italy and spain and been getting 93+ players with good work rates like high medium or high high and good weak foot/skill moves. another tip for me train a player that you want him to become good in for example you have a player that has 94 potential and only has good technical traits train his physical to level him up 3x or 4x then loan him for a 2 year contract he will come back with amazing technical and physical stats this works for anything you really want. if you dont the player will only improve his base stats, to branch it out you need to train his other stats and level him up before he hits 81 or 82. and do not over train your youth players they will get injuriy prone and he will be a waste of time even if hes 94 already he wont perform like one in sim matches. stop training players when they hit 80s let them level up naturally send them on loans and watch them grow if they dont do good on loans then you over trained your player

Just look the value of the player. 400.000 value will be around 61 overall. In my opinian you should promote them as soon as possible, because they get massive increase in the first team or you can put them in loan list
As for me, i prefer just leave them in the youth academy, even if their stats does not increase much, their hidden stats or stat that cannot be train does increase more than stats that can be train. We all know that some mental stats like composure, aggression, reaction and some technical stats like jumping, balance and acceleration cannot be train. So, from a lot of testing that I done, its better to leave them in the academy and just promote them when they demand to leave your academy if you did not promote them.
Another tip is to choose players that have a STAMINA rating similar (or close to) their overall average ratings. The reason for that is that your only training possibility for stamina is rated "Easy", so the progress will be very slow, and you won't be able to train that player's other attributes.

I need a reason why the young promising 87-92 potential 15 year old left winger from Portugal that I can’t play yet is declining in potential. It's not that their potential is declining, you get given an estimate of their potential so it's in this range, say 72-94 then each academy report narrows that range down meaning you get a better estimate, eventually down to say 81-87 so their potential is not declining just the estimate getting more accurate

Just saying, No.2 is kinda irrelevant because all countries have the same chances. It’s the scout that counts.
Some countries have a better ratio of returning Platinum Players (PTBS) than other countries.
I don't stagger the scouts but instead I look at them all at once and find one that's worth $1m+ cause I don't have time to wait for them to grow if they ever want to see the pitch. And any non "potential to be special" players get shipped off in loans and transfers, loan if I want them to brew a little to settle at a bigger price.
That way I get 1 or 2 super stars a month and the system doesn't clog up
Don’t bother checking the potential, just check the value. Anything over 300,000 is worth picking up. I had one player who was 16 when scouted and had a value of of just over 1 million.
Physically Strong is wrong. I always used to look for strikers there but you don't get them anymore. You only get Center Forwards.

Personally I would rather have a search system like PES 2019 and without all this bloody scouting crap and have a ready made youth team I can plunder. Just fill an age type and transfer status (I.e. free or other) and make my bids. Oh and when scouting in Asia, the youth team look awfully European.....

try Finland and Slovenia...Im going to put a lengthy post on here, but trust me. I have tried those bigger name countries but nowhere comes close to Finland and Slovenia. Its like EA secretly juiced them. My starters are loaded with 18-21 year old players ranging from 80-94 from those 2 countries.

Question: I was unaware of how the youth academy worked to I promoted players to my first squad. Later I find out to keep them in the academy longer. Can I move players back to the YA? If not, what to do best?
@EROL Yayla honestly I don't know. I started a career with AS Roma and I was able to assign scouts. When they are signed to a area they will monthly report back scouted players which you can sign to your youth academy and later contract them.
Once I also started a season with a Serie B team and I wasn't able to sign scouts. I checked the board assignments and they had no youth development expectations.
So possibly the club boards expectancies opens up this part of the game, but not sure

How do I ensure I sign players with great stamina or how do I train their stamina? Stamina and speed are the most critical things in players I sign or nurture. Any suggestion on this?
one of the running ones does it, cant remember but I think its a bronze level, easy to do. CAMs almost NEVER have decent stamina. Its the worst position at finding ones that have any. Other than that its a bit of a crap shoot

When the report comes out with rubbish, I try to revert back to the old save and I do. But The Scouting Report comes back with the exact same players every time. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Are you “Loading” or “Continuing” Career when you reload. If the later the same players will appear. You need to reload. If you are, then trying Saving a couple of days before. 👍🏻

How do you always hire 5/5 star scouts? Whenever I look there’s not always one available, sometimes the best is a 4/5 or a 5/4. Do I need to sim an extra day or what?
If you have the budget. Hire the best available, then instantly sack them and try again. A 5* 5* will appear soon enough.

You should choose the players by looking at the value. Sign any player with value of 500k and above and completely remove the rest of the player below it. The reason for this is because, even if the current rating is 60 and above, a player with value below 500k have lesser stats for anything other than 6 stats that determined the rating of said player. Even if the potential value is lower than 80, a 500k value player can be use as a swap bargain to buy players or sell them for easy cash.
From what I foresee when looking at youth players, a rating of 60 with a value below 500k for position other than CM and CDM, their stamina is too low to be used and it required a lot more training. Stamina as we all know is a bronze training hence it will take almost a full season just to get a player to 70 stamina if you actually take those player with low value. This also reflect to other position, hence, to make your choice and life easier, just recruit players with value above 500k.

I've had that happen to me several times. I had a german LB that had 88-94 potential and he was 17 years old with his overall being 69 and he just left because he was in the youth for "far too long".

My roommate thought I was cheating bc my team is all 80 and higher (couldnt find a godo CAM w stamina so I bought Bruno Fernandes and hes 28 now) and all 21 and younger. Its bc I train every session. Well you don't use any players then because they're all like that, same thing for strikers they always have low finishing.

If you are gonna cheat with the save and load you can straight use cheat engine to get all ovr 95 so this tips are not relevant.

Not really, it did used to slow down growth of untrainable attributes like Strength/ Sprint Speed, but in FIFA19 these are now trainable.

No, they will still grow if you don’t train. Just that training doesn’t effect the untrainable attributes like composure.

For next year i hope ea changes the youth system and at least do a u18 team with actual lineups where u need a certain amount of mids def gk and st and at least let us do more with our academy (practice games,make a youth league etc)

Can’t believe you sign a player after a 1 month review. I’m quite strict with signing youth, they have to have a potential of 94 after 5 months review. Save a lot of money that way and can also focus on training other players in the mean time.
I am too, when playing a normal Career Mode. But when playing a Career with only Youth Players, I need quality YA players ASAP.
Thanks to this video i have a full team of 94 potential players. I have an insane team, 1 of my CB’s is 95 rated now and most of my players are 90+ rated atm. It took me 6 seasons to create my team it’s just a shame that the gameplay this year is so bad so i can’t fully appreciate how good my team is.

.. .. my most valuable player in this video was an Exciting Prospect who had a 67 OVR, using your theory, should all my PTBS players with a lower OVR be higher in Value?
FIFA CareerGems no but i think players above 100 000€ have better chance of higher potential than around 70 000€. This isn’t always true but most of the times it is.
I found 4 90+ potential player in Ireland, 3 wingers, highest ever in a 9 month scouting for me, I always find great players in countries that aren't in the list of top countries, the expensive countries are the worst for me, especially Spain.
Scouting is easy as cake. The value number is a dead giveaway when scouting new young players. If they are 15-16 with over $250,000 value they are guaranteed to be at least 84 overall potential. If its over $500,000 then you my friend have found yourself a wonderkid 90+ potential. It becomes tricky if the player is already 17 when your scout first reports him to you and i havent done any significant testing yet so ill be back with that later but for now it seems that a prospect who is 17 or older’s value rating has no impact on their potential due to age where as 15-16 year olds are still raw and their initial value is key in scouting them properly before signing them.
