The thing is New schooler was actually formed as an a cappella group with only beatboxers. They are named “New schooler” because they are implementing a lot beatboxer aspect into a cappella covers/arrangements which is very new school (actually as they explained how they execute their projects, they are more of an a cappella group as well). So their covers based on a cappella (like chords and atmosphere making) and add elements of beatboxing (textures of sound and vocals/bass) into it, which ends up pushing the boundary of both a cappella and beatboxing. They are extremely musical beatboxing group and extremely technical a cappella group at the same time!

I think it’s nice in its own way, some easy listening compared to some of the beatboxing we hear with too much going on. It’s groovy and has flow, the chords easily transition to each section and makes simple sense. And yea, they are a beat capella box crew that can go both directions.
