- ATEEZ are just chaotic and I love them for it!! Thoroughly enjoyed this song, especially their It's Live ver. with the band, it just sounded on a different level! I really need that version in my spotify playlist! Yunho absolutely stole this for me vocally! He is so talented! And Mingi's soft rap was just... eurgh... amazing, how are they all so brilliant!! I cannot wait to see them LIVE!!

Fun fact, Yunho was actually majoring in music when he studied at SOPA (Seoul of Performing Art). He has more to offer regarding his vocal ability.

Speaking about Yunho's range, he sure can sing high notes but it's even more impressive when you know how low his voice can get, like in the Answer performance in Kingdom! You really need to check it out!

My absolute favorite mv behinds are for Don’t Stop, Deja Vu, The Real and Inception, they’re hilarious and really show Ateez’s awesome personalities.
You should also react to their logbooks! They are awesomeeee! Their most recent one (I believe #106) and logbook #73 (very famous in atinyville) are soooo great, I think you would really love them!

I'm constantly amazed with the range on Yunho, San and Seonghwa. Jongho is a given, but they're all such incredible vocalists.

Im glad you checked out the It's Live for Turbulence! its just so perfect! 'Turbulence' is part of the double title track in their Fever: Epilogue album along with 'The Real' so its actually the end of the fever series whereas 'Inception+Thanxx' were the beginning.
Fun facts: HJ's rap where you hear "Passion, Young, Fever" is a reference to their b-side song 'Fever' in the Fever pt.1 album. Also, the melody at the end during/after JH's high note is the same melody as their song 'Wave' from Treasure EP.3
A song that i would recommend to listen to is "Be With You", their vocals are amazing in this one as well, but it doesn't have a MV though, still, give it a listen sometime, is beautiful!!
You might already know this but for a set of the Turbulence MV (Hongjoong/San's part) they filmed it on the Han River Bridge which is notorious for su***des (especially at night) and I feel it's really meaningful that the song itself is about understanding that its okay to be who you are and not know your future considering much of the younger generation in Korea has a lot of pressure to do good and be successful despite not knowing their own future and not being able to express themselves much
(sorry for the run on sentence lol)
also near the end of the MV, a lot of the scenes go from night to a sort of morning/sunrise feel which also could mean making it through the night and getting through to the next day
This song has a lot of connection to their stroyline. It takes place after Yeosang turned the cromer to send the members back to dimension A and then destroyed it, trapping him in Strictland. If you look at the lighting, Yeosang is in yellow (symbolizing the yellow smoke of Strictland) and the rest of the members are in blue lighting. They are all separate because when they got back from Strictland without Yeosang, they went through a period of morning for their lost friend. The paper airplane at the end symbolizes the drone that appears in their hangout that was Yeosang’s way of communicating to the members that he was still alive in Strictland and gave them renewed hope to try to find a way back to save him. I know right now you are jumping around to do concert prep but if you want to do a deep lore dive I recommend you get your hands on the diaries. They really help fill in the gaps of things.

I agree though, if it's connected to the storyline it's either set before the Diary Film's conclusion or it's a Strictland memory-dream of those times

They are all such good vocalists, but something I really love about San's voice is the way he can convey his/the emotions so well through his singing ❤️

Yep, Turbulence is that song. And it came out just before Christmas. You listened to Turbulence before Wave, so I'm not sure if you caught it, but the end of Turbulence is the Wave instrumental.
46:11 the fact that they lifted him up and then when you see him "running" in air, he's SO flexible. It's hard to get that sort of movement out of limbs that have nothing underneath them. 54:28 Jongho is our resident athlete. Athletic family, athletic son. 55:10 is our legendary duo/ship, WooSan (Kor: umbrella), whose official ship fan club name is Bi (Kor: rain) because they're the umbrella to our rain. Yeah. Really. 56:02 San and Jongho are distantly related cousins, btw, both from the Choi clan. 1:12:10 YunGi are fully self-entertaining, and if other members are there to be props or cues, then they are even more entertained/entertaining. I love them all so much.

I love where they're just sitting and singing. You can really hear how beautiful their vocals are. This song hits home for me as well. First time I saw this I about cried and watched it like 4 times. Such an amazing group of young men that are truly genuine.

I totally get you. Seonghwa is also my bias (ult!) for many reasons, but one of them is definitely his comforting words and the warmth and kindness he radiates ❤️

When I first watched the MV I was getting choked up over the lyrics, then was in full on tears when Wooyoung takes flight.
Great reaction and analysis, Turbulence is definitely one of my most favorite songs because I love their softer side, and the live version is breathtaking, their vocals are so clean and powerful (can we take a moment to appreciate San and Jongho's combined high note? Like hello? These two are a deadly combo together)

LOL that point in the Making Of video when you're laughing about the film crew running after Hongjoong also made me laugh. Now, I'm not much of a BTS fan, and I really hate when people make comparisons of other groups to BTS because it's often really rude, but this specific thing really made me think of the clip where Jungkook took off running out of the blue and for no apparent reason and the cameraman assigned to him had to do the run of his life because he's really, REALLY fast. XD Some of these groups really make their cameramen work for their money and do things outside their job description. XD
mingi's turbulence rap was written right after and about his mental health hiatus so it's extra emotional. woo also often gets emotional and he always says it's his fave to perform bc of the meaning

Not sure if you heard it at the end of the song or not, but the last part of vocals after Jongho's high note (the very end one), the vocal tune is the same as Wave (I can't remember if you've listened to that one yet or not). But it's the same tune and might be my favorite part of the song, weirdly enough.
Jongho comes from a family of sportsmen, he even was thinking to be a professional soccer player before he found music.
