Well done for reviewing a 125. I’ve had a TNT 125 in the fantastic green colour since July last year - my first bike after CBT. It’s been a fantastic bike to get my road time on. I’m a lady rider, age 52 and I’ve just passed my mod 2. I’m picking up a Tuono 660 next week but I’ve decided to keep my Benelli for now. It’s such fun. I got 70 out of it on the way back from my mod 2 test 😁
I'm 18 and going to be 19 in June so not long until I can do my mod 2 I can't stop thinking about it because I'm excited and I keep thinking about what it's going to be like on the day 😂😂 Could you please tell me a bit about what it was like and if the theory test was hard? And do you do mod 1 and 2 where you did your CBT? Thanks 😀👍
I loved having my TNT125 as my first bike! Fits well with a lot of young peoples budgets, and for short people like me it really is the best for building confidence. Managed to get it up to 75 mph once on the dual carriageway 😂
I brought my first bike this weekend, can’t wait to start my bike journey. Great little starter bike. I thought I was going to struggle to find something because I’m only 5ft1 but this bike is just 👌🏼 all round
i just bought one brand new today and its gonna fit in my citroen belingo van lovely...mirrors adjusted. Gonna take it down to camp in kerry, fishing and stuff...Wont have to move the van from the campsite. Really looking forward to it.....
This one does look good, as all Benellis do. Nice exhausts. I wouldn't want to go fast on 12'' wheels. Neat dash. I bet kids will like this bike. There are several similar Thai-Chinese bikes which run on 14'' wheels. You won't get them, though as they have 150cc engines. In fact, I've just checked and a Benelli TNT 150 exists in Asian markets and has 17'' wheels. Another very good review.
i will take this instrument /meter cluster any day over the honda rebel 500. with the tachometer (not available on the rebel 500), you don't really need a gear indicator but that analog tachometer is a nice addition for such a basic, cheap motorcycle. it's a shame bikes costing a few times more cannot even match such an instrument cluster. That dual pipe for a single cylinder is a surprising design feature.

I have a Chinese 125 a Mash Falcone but that has 17 inch wheels which I think is preferable It seems that the frame is used for the TNT 125 E5 as well. Who makes the engine Mark ? Is that something that you can slip in these reviews ? Is it a engine made under license ? The engine of mine 125 is derived from Suzuki, not made by Suzuki. I fond the firm that is making those. I see the BENELLI is using the same key, those are prone to bending easily. I always fold it back in the casing when not used.
My missus has the tnt I have a vstrom 1000 im 6'2 16 stone and find her bike really comfortable and fun to ride it feels bigger than it looks when riding comfort wise unlike the grom which feels horrendously cramped. After its first service with proper oil its definitely got more pep and will hit a gps 70mph but kind of struggles at 60mph during break in before the service. Cracking little bike, well built and lots of fun to ride and thats coming from someone who rides a big heavy 1000cc strom unlike the grom which felt utterly gutless and tacky imo way better than the grom its one of the nicest chinese 125cc bikes ive seen and rode.
I own one, converted into a mini scrambler. Bought it for fun, and to test the quality of Chinese built motorcycles. It’s capable, but don’t expect Honda quality, and it has a few mildly annoying features, but overall I would say its worth the retail price. It also puts a big smile on your face. Buyers should know that Benelli don’t provide a rear shock adjustment spanner in the toolkit. They say you should take it to the dealer for adjustment, so get it set up before you take delivery or buy a tool and wrestle with the absurdly tight adjusters!.
Nice comment. Can you elaborate a bit on the issues please? Has it stood up well since you've owned it? I'm very close to buying this or the CB125F and can't decide which.
@@HuwPewPew honestly, buy the CBF125. You can’t go wrong with the Honda. I sold my TNT125 after 1,000 kms. The dealer network is poor, my experience with my own dealer was poor, and whilst elements of the bike look well put together I found things like batteries, chains, etc., are of low quality. Also don’t let any Benelli dealer tell you the 125 engine is the same as the Honda. It’s not!. The Honda engine will far outlast the Benelli.
@@peterconnell3162 thanks for that! I'd heard that the new model of the CB125F was of a lower quality than it's previously named CBF125 and apparently rust quite a bit so I was definitely on the fence. @@HuwPewPew the TNT125 tires are poor, but I changed them from day one. Whilst the bike has style, its quite small. The Honda is more akin to riding a proper bike. For me the Benelli was a third bike in my garage, and to only be used at weekends for a bit of fun. I would never buy it as a daily rider. Also don’t worry about negative comments on the Honda. They are generally built with good quality control, and if you look after it then you won’t regret buying it.

A very informative review as usual Mark. I’m glad you’re reviewing 125cc bikes as all the dealers in my area don’t seem to have demo bikes available to ride. I came close to buying one of these last year but felt it was a bit small for me!. It is a great looking bike and really undercuts the price of the Grom by some margin.

Good review 👍 Mark, good starting entry level bike or a light bike for the older riders, I'm a little put off by the rear mudguard arrangement, looks like a piece fell off, cheers, from Australia, really go riding weather at the moment 30c plus with clear blue skys.
Yes those floating mudguards are not very nice, that is the reason I took them of my two bikes, Mash Falcone 125 and Triumph Trident 660. I really don't like them.
Ive been looking at one for sale just 2 miles from me and it has a tail tidy fitted, it looks great, I need to replace my previous bike which has been stolen, this TNT sounds really good and much better than my Hanway NK, Im impressed by the speed, looks like it was doing 50 mph at around 7000rpm, once again better than my Hanway.
The benelli is a good little bike. However, to make it a great little bike you should do these upgrades. New clutch and springs. The OEM springs are very weak. New 14th front sproket. This gives much more torque in the bottom end. That's it. Im 6ft3 230lbs. My top spec wide open before upgrading was 48mph on the flats. Now, I easily get 55 to 58 ish. Those updates cost me$125 us. Easily to install yourself.
@@markpulling12 Thanks. I did my CBT on the 30th of July 2024. So now I am trying to decide what bike to buy myself. I had learned to drive a motorcycle (on Tuesday) just there on a Benelli BN 125.

My stepson bought one of these second hand about 18 months ago, what a heap of junk. Possibly the worst bike I've seen in all my 40+ years of biking. It was only 3 years old when he bought it (a 67 reg) and it was already going rusty and the front brake was seizing. Last October the bike expired with two burnt out exhaust valves, it had covered 11000 miles. He got rid of it for spares as due to it's over all condition it just wasn't worth repairing. Yes they look cool and funky but that sparkle soon fades. Sorry to put a downer on your excellent review Mark but people need to know what they are buying if they want one of these.
Thanks...I see a lot of 125s on my travels including Hondas etc that are in a terrible state due to literally zero maintenance...as long as you keep up with the maintenance they are generally pretty good 🙂 Best regards mark

Fairly typical of these Chinese bikes that they only produce around 10 bhp when they legally can go to 15 bhp you'd think they would go for at least 12 bhp or more, but the fact they don't is a bit disappointing don't ya think
The bike looked normal until you sat on it.....you looked like a giant! I don't think combined brakes are a good idea, when a learner moves up to a bigger bike they will have to learn front and back braking, when to use either or both is quite a skill. Fun bike for little people though.

Really nice bike mark great review thanks👍🤟
Thanks Andrew it's a little cracker !!
Really loved the review, you went into depth and showcased it well.. i look forward to getting mine!!
Another note, your video convinced me to go with the white color way! Safe travels all the way from Texas!
Many thanks:)
I bought one aswell for a run about !!
Is this the 2022 model? On their website, the benelli tnt 125 shows an all screen dashboard with gear indicator.
That pic is probably for illustration purposes only sadly the gear indicator isn't enabled on these ...
2021 /2022 are the same ....it's just a 2022 registered bike .
Unless I'm totally wrong and there is now a gear indicator enabled but I've not seen one yet
Best regards mark
Hi Mark. Are you able to do a review on the updated Versys 650?
Yes definitely soon as Bournemouth Kawasaki has one on demo ...I'll check with them tomorrow:)
So what's the difference with the 135? That's what I have. In Ca. They don't offer the 125..
No difference maybe half a . Hp lol
Cheers mark
Great tunes! Love the speedo. Black and red please.
I see you replying to all comments.. should I buy this as my first bike ? I’m 16 and don’t want to spend much money on it (also thinking about buying it used) This bike is just perfect for me.. the height, the size, the controllable frame..
Thanks for your review
Hi yes 💯 these are perfect first bikes .. great fun and easy to learn on ...hope all goes well with your riding career 🤞
Cheers mark
@@markpulling12 thanks
Great review, great little bike
Thanks Martine ... loved it :)
It is good there is a market for them here in the lovely soggy foggy UK.
Bonjour,

Great bike for the price and better looking than the MSX/ GROM but probably not the same quality as the Honda although it does look decent.
Thanks Ian I'd say it's nearly as good as a Grom but alot cheaper,:)
Wow you get a lot of bike for such a cheap price .. really nice
Many thanks Simon 😀
A 2 year warranty if there is a dealer around. What if it breaks and the dealer is 50 miles away?
A good dealer would come and collect you in his van ,:)
Love ur stuff!! Ur the best Mark!
Many thanks 👍
Another great Benelli. Lovely bike.
Thanks Daniel
You talk about the height recommendations I’m 6ft 3 what would you recommend similar to this ?
Hi at 6,ft 3 have a look at bikes like the herald Maverick or the sinnis range
Cheers mark
Is it not an italian bike? Thanks
Definitely 😀 💯 Chinese :)
Will this bike be slower with a 16 stone rider?
A little bit but you'll still get 60 ish mph no probs 👍...these are great little bikes best wishes mark
Good review 👍 Mark, good starting entry level bike or a light bike for the older riders, I'm a little put off by the rear mudguard arrangement, looks like a piece fell off, cheers, from Australia, really go riding weather at the moment 30c plus with clear blue skys.
Many thanks 👍 your weather sounds amazing 🤩
Yes those floating mudguards are not very nice, that is the reason I took them of my two bikes, Mash Falcone 125 and Triumph Trident 660. I really don't like them.
Ive been looking at one for sale just 2 miles from me and it has a tail tidy fitted, it looks great, I need to replace my previous bike which has been stolen, this TNT sounds really good and much better than my Hanway NK, Im impressed by the speed, looks like it was doing 50 mph at around 7000rpm, once again better than my Hanway.
Do you offer finance on buying this motorcycle?
All motorcycle dealers can offer finance
Best wishes mark
Mark, can you ride a grom please, for comparison 🤔👍🏻
Hi ....yes I must try and get hold of one cheers mark
@@markpulling12 nice one, thanks matey 👍🏻
Mark is the Men!
Many thanks 👍👍
At the two minute mark, it looks like the bike is out of oil. None is showing in the inspection window.
Haha that's because it's on its side stand ...all bikes are like that ,;)
Once you pull the bike upright you Will get your reading cheers mark
The benelli is a good little bike. However, to make it a great little bike you should do these upgrades. New clutch and springs. The OEM springs are very weak. New 14th front sproket. This gives much more torque in the bottom end. That's it. Im 6ft3 230lbs. My top spec wide open before upgrading was 48mph on the flats. Now, I easily get 55 to 58 ish. Those updates cost me$125 us. Easily to install yourself.
i am 5'4"
and my inside leg is 26 inches.
Will i be able to get both my heels on the ground while sitting on this bike ?
Hi Barry yes you should be fine
Worst case your heals will be an inch or so up from the ground
Best wishes mark

Thanks.
I did my CBT on the 30th of July 2024.
So now I am trying to decide what bike to buy myself.
I had learned to drive a motorcycle (on Tuesday) just there on a
Benelli BN 125.
What's the intro song ?
The CBS is the reason I cant get this and the small wheels, the little bikes sacrifices safety.
Great review, been looking at these bikes myself, although i think you've made a small mistake, you said it was a chinese bike but im pretty sure Bennelli is Italian
Like most things it's made in china now ...designed by Benelli in Italy ..there are made in china stickers on the bike ..keeway ,Benelli ,,zontes are all Chinese made ...best wishes mark
@@markpulling12 I stand corrected then pal, still a great review though! I think I'll be heading to that shop to take a closer look myself
Italian job. Ben tnt 135 = Ducati mini fun bike. Sexy exhaust + water pipe skeleton. Better choice ! 😀😆🤣
This going to be my first bike all igot to do is pass the test and get enough money
Excellent review.
Like anything if it’s beat up and not properly cared for that’s going to happen to anything. Most people I know with one are not experiencing that
Thanks...I see a lot of 125s on my travels including Hondas etc that are in a terrible state due to literally zero maintenance...as long as you keep up with the maintenance they are generally pretty good 🙂
Best regards mark
@@bfarm44 my lexmoto lsn was properly taken care of. Lived in a heated garage. Cleaned atleast e times a week. And it still showed rust, still suffers with the faulty ignition like the lexmoto lxr does. Il never go back to Chinese bikes. There's only one Chinese brand I like and that's sym. They are far better in build quality.
@@JDMz Sym are Taiwanese. A subtle difference i know but they are better quality.
how tall is mark ?
Hi I do say In all my videos and you can see me on the bike at about 3/4 mins ....I'm 5 ft 7 /170 cm
Cheers mark
I am 3 foot 6 it is too big for me
So difficult to find an affordable 125 for a 6’1 guy
Veryy good. You great! Like whis bike
Uhhh
Speedo is out by 9mph at all speeds, sat on the limiter... at 72 gps reads 63, 30mph is 22mph... not good, luckily you can calibrate the speedo
You are 100% correct, recalibrated my speedometer and the bike is stupid slow, even after 2 extra teeth on front sprocket, hitting 50 is a chore for the bike 👎🏻
very beautiful little bike 😍 😍 😍
Yes I thought so too 😃👍
how tall are you?
Hi I'm 5 ft 7 at the beginning you can see me on the bike :)
@@markpulling12 you think this will fit for 5'1"…?
@@aldrinempalmado1774 yes you should be ok with it :)
@@aldrinempalmado1774I am 5ft 1, in the morning 🤭 & while I’m entering my mid-life-crisis phase, decided to start riding. I have one of these. Yes, I’ve dropped it, BUT I CAN touch the ground. Just. On tippy-toes with both feet, quite easily on 1 side flat footed.
Although I’ve had some issues with my “check engine” light coming on. The bikes been in the shop for 2wks & I’ve just got it back…. So far, so good. THIS time around 🤞🤞🤞
What I'd you r 6ft 4
AHH I think this will be way to small for you
Nice bike
Thanks Eli 😀
Tnt 125 fairings is a lot better compare to 135, i had 135 in my country
Ridiculous bike......I love it.
Seems like a lot of weight for a 125cc
🏍️💨
Fairly typical of these Chinese bikes that they only produce around 10 bhp when they legally can go to 15 bhp you'd think they would go for at least 12 bhp or more, but the fact they don't is a bit disappointing don't ya think
🤩🤩🤩❤️🤩🤩🤩
Thanks:) 💯
Sold in the US as a 135.Don't know why.
The bike looks better than a Grom
The bike looked normal until you sat on it.....you looked like a giant! I don't think combined brakes are a good idea, when a learner moves up to a bigger bike they will have to learn front and back braking, when to use either or both is quite a skill. Fun bike for little people though.
£1.995 in green at my local motorcycle shop 😊
@@monty_sultana wow great price
Output shaft bearings were Garbage on these. also valves rattle to death.
Got one Today for £1300 2020, 750miles

TNT125で遊んでいます(^^)v
it's Italian my dude, not chinese!
Lol very much made in china ;)

Lot cheaper than Honda Monkey
Yes I was very impressed with the price great vfm :)
Yup. But the monkey is more reliable. Could literally hit the limiter all day long on those. They're bullet proof.
maybe if u shut up i could hear the bike
China made sad
Cheap copy of KTM Duke 125.
It's nothing like a ktm duke. It's more of a copy of honda grom.
