Kind of like in career moded, why is the Northwest Open (major) at Pinehurst? Last time I checked, Pinehurst was in the Southeast.. that's literally the complete f*ing opposite on a compass. Also, the tempo issues can be caused by the position (similar to swing path) or downward pressure (or lack there of) on the joystick. Sometimes I get the slows if either are slightly off. It causes me to not hold my pullback long enough and l'll let up pressure just a fraction before pushing forward. Will cause slow tempo regardless of how fast you push forward after you've let up pressure on the pullback.
The "Northwest Open" is the fictional placeholder for the US Open. The name absolutely makes no sense, but having Pinehurst No. 2 as the host course for that event does make sense...although I hate that they locked it to just Pinehurst now. You used to be able to swap courses, and you could have a nice rotation of actual US Open host venues like Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach, and Pinehurst.
Man I've been over tgc for a few months now. I always used to be able to compete for top 10s regularly but out of nowhere, just completely lost my tempo. Way too stressful to try get back to that. I've been demoted to cca and couldn't be happier 😆
Apex I’ve noticed that on green side chips you give the breaks too much respect, thing that works for me (I drop about 8 out of 10 green side chips) is if it’s up hill about two yards before the pin and it doesn’t catch any break unless it’s severe, downhill I’ll got 3-4 yards before the pin
What does it matter? We all work from the same baseline. Yeah PGA 2K23 is stupid. Of course it is. Stop worrying about the stupidity of it. Enjoy the ride. Love your content, by the way. Take care.
