I am watching this video very late. I have recently assembled 5.1 system and used 2 boards both from differrent manufacturers. One board was working excellent without any humming and heating other s........n brand was heating a lot and lot of humming ( the same board which is in this video) and also heating too much.. Both have benn connected with 12v 5 amp smps. The problem of humming and heating was 100 % due to fake IC. I purchased IC marked ST from local market for Rs.120 and the problem solved. So friends I am sharing my experience.
Hey there ! My head unit has awful noise sound and it’s not a ground issue in my system as I have tried direct to battery with nothing else connected and used power filter . What capacitor should i install to fix this ? When I tough the heat sink the crackling gets worse :(
It means that there is a wiring issue with your unit I mean there is a wire that is connected in wrong way or if everything is fine then you can send me a picture of your amplifier unit then I would able to suggest you some solution
Sorry for late reply but if you are getting humming after even capacitor installation then you have to change the supply. Like transformer to SMPS or 12 volt battery also if then your humming problem solved so you have to check all components and ground which are connected. After all if the problem remains then now I am working on a new humming problem solution video please wait for it around two days
