- Sri.PANDIT JASRAJ appreciated and blessed R.P SHRAVAN for his impressive rendition of KETKI GULAAB JUHI on 21st February 2017 ,at his residence.
He was impressed by the authenticity of his rendition and praised him for having rendered it equal to a Hindustani Vocalist, despite the fact that Shravan is a hard-core Carnatic vocalist.
Shravan is a very prominent singer in the Indian Idol Season 9. He hails from Chennai and has been performing Concerts from the age of 13.He is a versatile musician who is well known for singing different kinds of songs and presenting them with equal ease and comfort.
He is under the eminent tutelage of- Sri.Srimushnam V.Raja Rao, Smt.Padma Chandilyan and Sri.Delhi P. Sunder Rajan.
He is the Runner Up of Star Vijay's AIRTEL SUPER SINGER, which provided him a wonderful platform to showcase his talents to the world.
He's currently pursuing his B.Com from Loyola College,Chennai and has recently cleared his CA(Inter) Examinations.

Indian idol have really let us down by eliminating such a divine talent. We are forced to think that the panel is incapable of judging talents beyond their limits. Shravan's way of going out was, as if, I know my singing and I've my own career. FU !!
