      The V1 gang is everywhere. :) I can only agree.

      Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I always worry about either going to fast with some stuff, or not enough detail elsewhere so glad you found the pace OK.

    Utterly brilliant video... I love the real world tips and explanations. This is one of the very best that I have watched! Thx so much for producing it....

    I bought the Islander yesterday and I'm looking forward to flying it. Tx for the tips on using the autopilot!

    I really like your videos. I bought the Islander and love flying it. Your videos are really helping me to learn about the systems. Can you tell me how you get the moving map on the avitab with the airport chart?

      Sorry for the delay replying. If you have a Navigraph subscription you can use that in AviTab (that’s what is shown in the video). You can also geo-reference a PDF chart like you can see in my TBM Part 3 video.

    I love your videos you’re so knowledgeable, you should do a whole series on the Zibo mod ,, because I think I know that mod very well but I guarantee you can show everyone a whole bunch more about it

      I mean, he already did one on the 737CL. Most of the knowledge there should carry over more or less.

      Thanks for the nice comment. I only recently got the Zibo mod, but it’s pretty good, I really like it. I never flew the 737, my IXEG series was based on time in a 737 FNPT device, so wouldn’t be able to do a detailed series like I did with the A320. I believe “flightdeck2sim” is a 737NG Pilot, he certainly shows a lot of Zibo flying on his channel.

    Hi, fantastic video! How do you get the Ipad working like that?.. mine pops up as just a frame that I can move around!.. thanks

      Sorry for the delay replying. I think it’s just a click spot on the glare shield that triggers the AviTab. You can also move it around slightly.

    A wonderful and fully professional film. Thank you. The only thing that is holding me back from buying the BN-2 TorqueSim over the Nimbus is the engine sounds.
    The ones from Nimbus are great, and the ones appear to be very average and flat (despite the 1.1 fix).
    Are the TorqueSim sounds really bad ???

    • @ReflectedRealitySimulations
      @ReflectedRealitySimulations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know how the Nimbus model sounds, but remember for my videos I keep the engine volume much lower than normal.

    my autopilots keeps disconnecting erratically with this aircraft. Flight plans cannot ne excuted either , the aircraft goes anywhere except on the flightplan fixes

      Sorry for the delay responding. That's not something I've seen, if you're still having the issue I'd suggest asking on the TorqueSim discord where the developers are quite active.

    Hi! When you dial the ils frek on the nav 2, the secondary hsi glideslope red flag do not disappear even it captured. Is that normal?

    • @ReflectedRealitySimulations
      @ReflectedRealitySimulations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter, no that isn't right. I didn't spot that during the video, and I think it was working previously. I'll try and work out what's happening and feed it back to TorqueSim as required. Thanks for pointing it out!

    where is the vibration of the panel and the noisey engines common in Islanders

    • @ReflectedRealitySimulations
      @ReflectedRealitySimulations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest, I think a lot of these effects in flight simulators for head and panel shake are vastly overdone as in real life the image your brain processes is relatively stabilised. Also, the TorqueSim model is a BN2B which has a much improved panel design. If you look at panel images of a BN2A you will see the six standard flight instruments are fitted to a sub-panel which is there to protect the instruments from vibration, that same sub-panel is not present on the BN2B. I keep my sim volume low when recording the videos so as not to affect the narration, but you can make the sounds much louder if you prefer.
