BLS Vlog - Ely Trainspotting Winter 2024 (Featuring 56098)

Hello fellow simmers and welcome to a latecomer of the Vlog series with our Trainspotting At Ely 2024 video. On the Saturday we went to Ely there was issues with track circuits which resulted in about 7 freight trains all held up in a line waiting to go through Ely Station all at once which was somewhat of a rarity.
The main reason we went to Ely however was to see Class 56 56098 which was seen on hire to DCRail hauling loaded aggregates operating under headcode 6M89 from Middleton Towers to Ravenshead Sidings, We hope you enjoy the video.

I really enjoyed this one.
I liked seeing all of the freight trains go past.
Some very funny moments as well with the river and the muddy field, did Dan get his wellies stuck as he was watching the aggregate 66 go past?

Yes he did indeed as he started messing around with the muck and managed to pile up too much of it over his feet so he got stuck. Hey ho that's why you have gotta watch your footing and not muck around too much in a ploughed/muddy field lol .

Yes thats right. All ways have to be careful as you don't know muddy it can be.
I didn't see in the video did Dan have help to get he welly out?

Sorry for the late reply, Yes you do more so when walking around ploughed fields.
No Dan managed to get out himself luckily.
