The Cataclismo left us broken. Construct fortresses and defend against waves of Horrors in this mix of tower defense and real-time strategy. Lead an expedition beyond the gates of the last city, and reclaim mist-shrouded ruins as you rebuild humanity-stone by stone.

I really like that the different wall parts give actual bonuses like range and attack damage, and visually change the wall as well. It's really interesting and visually cool!
Just a heads-up, Wander, but I played all of this in the demo several months ago. The new content is the tech tree and the missions that come after (save for one of the next missions).

This seems like a neat game. Though from my experience with other fortress builders when you wanna add a second layer it's almost always better to make a kill box. Single wall in the front, open area behind it that archers can shoot from. This makes the entire structure much more deadly.

I could swear that this game is of Spanish origin. The accents in the voice acting fit Europe; it would be surprising if Cataclismo were Latin American though.
You're correct! Digital Sun is in Spain.
Hogar means home in Spanish

How do the AI swarm react to a maze structure?
Say you have a bigass wall as core, and make a maze of stone with traps to go through at a lower level, like one does in "ordinary" tower defence games
Then grenaders could walk on the maze stone top - if destroyed - and follow along if necessary if AI swarm walks on towards the core wall
From what I understand of the behavior, they'd just start beating down the walls in their way on their march to the citadel, even if there's an unobstructed route for them.
reminds me of castle story, without the insuferable characters.
Iris being pronounced e-ris instead of eye-ris keeps throwing me off, never heard it pronounced that way before.
It is a Spanish pronunciation
