nah, thats not true, against giant monsters it works fine with a pierce built, and its great for a clusterbuild with peak performance.

Awesome run man. Been using the same build but with halberion since I dont have kjarr fire yet. Only tried it because I thought the fire looked cool then fell in love with elemental phial type and now have one for every element.

that was well optional you cab go witg the rathalos CB helgrion something.... the difference is the critical element buff but not that different... unless ur speed running

im trying to figure out what attack you did at 4:59 where it looks like your doing the super elemental discharge but you only discharge one phial, i cant replicate that #plzhelpanoob
Middox Basically do the same attack routine triangle + ⭕️ to go into SAED but without having the shield powered up
What Anthony said, press back when doing saed to do the 1 phial combo
Thats an AED, normally if you knw you’re gonna Oof when the monster hits u u readily pull back. AED has a stun effect so thats cool. Once u have ur sword at the back of ur hunter while doing animation for SAED by cancelling it out u cn get AED. So its something like tri+circle three times, on the third time when ur sword is up quickly press tri and back on ur analog n itt will go to AED.
he was attacking 12 o'clock/straight on.....
you pull the left stick in the opposite direction with Y+B.
SO in this case he pulled towards himself which is 6 o'clock.
if he attacked the right side of the screen or 3 o'clock.
he'd cancel it by pulling the L stick towards the left side or 9 o'clock + Y+B.
Y+B=triangle+circle via playstation controller.
I gotta wonder. Those white scars on a monster when you attack a specific part. Do those mean anything, or is it just aesthetic?
I'm trying to pick up CB today, but seems to be quite complicated (compared to LS anyway). Any tips? Is there a cookie cutter combo input?

these weapons are BUSTED. im lucky enough to have king, spark and ice. what would you suggest subbing for the miasma jewels? for when you're not fighting vaal?
you can chang to Atk 4 is good ( miasma 3 expert 1 ) or 3 of vitality jewel
Arch Tempered monsters are so hard to kill i'm in the End Game(Guiding Lands) of Iceborne and got killed by AT Nergigante even with MR Gear.

By the way bud, you should try the Kjarr "numb" CB, its paralyze is insane i tried it and i have that one too lol just missing "King" really...but yeah you solo amazing without the need to stun, knock out, or paralyze but i cant solo as good as you yet so those things help me

@@marclenraymagdaraog691 Yeah that rainbow/relic CB is amazing, i was partying in a nergigante fight, paralyzed it a few times before it died and each time i paralyzed it we just ganged up on it and beat it to death, makes fights much easier lol

elemental phials get no effect from artillery skill, just the impact phials

Elemental CB's stand to gain more from their respective elemental damage for the SAED in comparison to having to run Artillery, MM, and Attack to get the most raw damage for impact phials.
TLDR: elemental min-max CB is easier compared to raw impact CB
killerman0922 maximummight helps on impact? I normally run 7 attack, weakness ex, capacity, artillery, non elemental, and focus.
I Need this charge blade especially ice Borne is coming! But most Kjarr I get is gunlance, sword and shield, lance and glaive. I only have the ice atm.

With the phial damage, why use the kjarr fire instead blos CB? Just curious

vaal is extremely weak to fire so kjarr elem fire is gonna do wonders. add regen all you need is attack, attack, attack!
Would the decay possibly be another good option since same damage values, dragon with three star to vaal but also has average dragonseal?
Vaal only takes extra damage from dragon on parts that have been broken. Fire is effective from the start so you’ll get higher DPS from those weapons.

I have the ice, water, and thunder Kjarr CB's, missing King and event is sadly ended. I tried AT Vaal with King insect glaive and got him down to barely alive with the skull shown on the minimap but i lost...didnt need anything from him though because i have his gear it was just for fun to see if i could solo it but he's a pain in the ass for me
You get the top 3 CB that everyone is looking for. don't worry about kjarr king,you can use kjarr ice vs vaal too. or diablos
@@Tiieleven Yeah i'd say i got really lucky on the CB's from kulve taroth, many things are weak to ice with at least a 2 star weakness if it isnt 3 except for a few monsters and not as many things are weak to fire and i'll use the other two CB's for the appropriate monster weak to their element. Still wish i got King though because its better than Halberion blade or the taroth strongarm fire i'm using and i like completing all the elemental weapon sets but taorth strongarm horn or diablos CB is still good too. I got horn because of the extra defense over diablos. I should have tried Lunastra or Teostra with ice CB but there is always next time and i need Gamma lunastra stuff i did AT teostra with parties before i got ice and got his gear and all the AT's except lunastra and of course nergigante because an AT version of him doesnt exist yet

@@tyrantking2322 nope. i was talking about the steamstone. the ones for augmentation. only available randomly on Tempered lvl 3 quest. don't waste gold wyverian tickets. iceborne is soon. keep them.

he's using elemental CB, the Critical Boost skill doesn't applies on elemental damages

The raw of the weapon isn't that high I think. Since its a "king" its probably rathalos cb with crit element as a skill, but the fire damage of the rathalos weapons aren't that high since they pride themselves in having high affinity base, so it won't do as much damage as the tyrannis on crit

Opinion on nergi charge blade? I use it for eldeeseal
I only use chargeblade and never really found elderseal useful, just grab the Diablo cb the phial damage is all about how high you can get your base attack, and artillery skill, throw a health augment on and you start getting alot of knock outs. Or these new elemental cb won't give you nearly as much knock downs but have a better time to kill if the monster has a 3 star weakness to the element.
My fastest is only 10 min and something. So not that fatt and I am not even fully max and no DLC weapons !
I thought I was doing pretty good for my first time being 24mins but geez
