      The petrol cap looks great but I am a tank bag user. I definitely want that RG hanger. I just use stainless steel button head bolts where the pillion peg mounts.

      @@derekperry9139 the pillion peg delete is included with the R&G hanger, does not cost extra, but yes otherwise I would have proably gone the bolt route as well ... =)

    I just test-rode one of these today. Lovely machine in many ways.. great handling, fantastic torque.. Shifted clunky as hell, almost all the time, especially in lower gears. It's a Rich Man's Trophy prize... YOU can't afford the Parts or Service, IF you could find a Guzzi dealer (in the US). Glad I rode it though... it IS a lovely motorcycle. Just not for me.

      The clunky shifter gets better after break in, I agree, its not for everyone, it is rather quirky but when its on, its ON!

    Thanks def looks good, same question as always since trying to save weight. Think removing both rearsets with pegs save much or negligible?

      By itself not much at all, but it all adds up … ;). The V100 is a porker by nature no getting around it.

    You’re in Texas? What region? Do you have a good MG dealer recommendation?

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am in North Texas, about an hour North of Dallas. Dealer wise it is slim pickings. There is plano kawasaki suzuki in plano , next would be Oklahoma or Austin, TX - AF1 racing, there is also a dealer in Houston, but I have not heard anything good about them.

      I did, similar to the Carpuride unit I reviewed with a added camera.

    does the new fuel cap help with all the back splash when filling up? fuel loves to go everywhere, due to their weird baffling system in the v100 fuel tank..my ninja 650 never had this issue thankfully.

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unfortunately not, I still have to be rather careful to not get the splashes. My BMW and Triumph don’t have the issue, like you mentioned it’s the internal tank design MG has chosen.

    Hello, how is the comfort seat? Does it make the difference?

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Seats are a very subjective matter, I went forth and back and for me personally, it is a bit more comfortable and you get the build in heating as bonus. They are both shaped in the same way so don’t expect a huge difference. Hope this helps. Cheers

    • @ThatGermanFella
      @ThatGermanFella  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my case it is a black matte solid piece, so very easy to maintain.
