    Hi guys Brian always talks about giving to the developers and I agree with him however, I believe that we should start with him first.
    The content he makes is top class and we should all contribute something here.
    Brian has personally assisted me with all my stupid questions no matter how many times I ask.
    So I challenge those who can for 10 bucks each. I have done mine and Brian can confirm when he gets it.
    Come guys let’s show Brian how much we appreciate the content
    Dash here Brian from South Africa

      Thanks so much! I did receive the donation, and I truly appreciate it. I know I'm not always immediately available, but I do try to answer when I can.

    Is there any open source tool for Hospital Management

    • @AwesomeOpenSource
      @AwesomeOpenSource  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been asked this a few times. I've not found anything specifically labeled as Hospital Management software, but if you can tell me a bit more about what makes this software specific to hospitals, maybe there are solutions that simply haven't been labeled that way.

    Never found anything that can compete with dashy’s configuration, the only thing she hasn’t automated is widgets….

    • @AwesomeOpenSource
      @AwesomeOpenSource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, but it's really a terrific setup. I'll say, one of the folks on my discussion forum has an incredible Homepage setup and he squeezes out every bit of data possible to view on it. Really impressive.

    how to you add more widgets are not at their website instructions? for example TeamSpeak 3 Server, Piwigo, Subsonic, and other Games Servers, besides Minecraft?

      You'd be best off to go check their documentation,, and ask in any discussion forums they host. You'll simply get much more expert advice from those locations than from me.

      Don't know. You might just search the github or docker hub sites and see if something has changed.

    I’d really like to give Homepage an honest shot but I’ve grown comfortably lazy and prefer gui editors.
    Another excellent production, sir.

      I finally spun up Homepage and started configuring it. Boy, I was foolish for sleeping on this. Editing via yaml is so much more efficient.

    Im still pissed about all the privacy invasions and whatnot in todays world but also ud have to lock urself away from half of the modern world if youd want privacy and often theres no way around big tech as well ugh......

    • @AwesomeOpenSource
      @AwesomeOpenSource  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's true that there is a difficult balance to maintain between privacy, trust, and keeping in contact with the rest of the world. We, as open source and privacy advocates can help move the needle by providing servers like Matrix, and Lemmy, and others and put our family and friends on them, and make sure they can communicate with the rest of the federated system of applications.

    I've got just one gripe with Homepage: it shows Portainers separately. I much prefer the Heimdall way - it shows the combined stats for all of my portaner-clients located on many different hosts.

      @@AwesomeOpenSource Unfortunately I don't know how to make requests. You are right but still all of us have phones and would be nice to glance at your server and containers status sometimes from it. I think also it's very easy to implement as Dashy have this feature. Love your channel btw one of my favorites.

    • @AwesomeOpenSource
      @AwesomeOpenSource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just go to github.com/benphelps/homepage/issues and click the 'New Issue' button. In your request title type ENHANCEMENT: then the rest of your request title (like "Make a mobile friendly version of homepage").
      In the body give more details like:
      - What phone or device you tried it on already
      - In what ways did it not scale properly (force horizontal scrolling, or no ability to scroll, or view was far too small to see anything - These are just examples, I don't know what's wrong with the mobile view.)
      - What OS your device is running (iOS, Android)
      - What version of the OS it's running (iOS 15, or Android 12, etc)
      - Add screenshots from your device if possible so the developers can see what you're describing.
      Then submit it for them to look into.

      I've tried that, oddly, no dice unless I open dev tool sand tell it not to cache on refresh, and then it only works with dev-tools open, and only on about the 5th try. Super crazy.
