They were NOT air traffic controllers - Carol was an air hostess, Michael was working in the office dept as a dispatcher - Michael born 1949 wasnt an airline pilot either.
Please get you facts correct. Michael was from a once wealthy gentry family. Not much left but Michael had the background Carol needed but gentility aside he hadn't much left of his familys money.
Carols mother was a deterined and pushy other and was determined to better their lot -
Carol had a brother and he was a rough diamond. They were collier's ..... The dogmatic attitude was passed on to the daughter Carol born 1955. So she planned the girls outcomes but her son James battled depression all his life and he took to raising dogs until he met his french girlfriend.
So, carols pushy ways were passed down the Middleton matriarchs worked well for the Yorkshire Jewish line in my opinion. By making them out to be more than they were takes away their hard nosed meterioric rise to fame. The girls were led like Brooke Shields to an end result.
The business went bust during Covid Party Pieces bit the dust. A grand scheme of social climbing. Well executed by Carol and a mother that kept a strict watch on their eating diets clothes and schooling to train them up to get wealthy
