Alam mo, tama ka. Kuh's voice has perfect placement. When she sings every note, she knows to place it forward and the front of her face mask. The purity of her artistry comes out and each note is so delicious to hear. Kaya, I can listen to her when she sings this way... so perfect, luscious and in her own classical way! Not all singers today can do what she does... You hit the nail on the head! :P
Kuh really [was] a great, great singer - back then, before her singing style got contaminated by soul, rap, etc. Listen to how she used to take great care in delivering every note on this LIVE performance. I missed the times when one can really savor her singing. No bumps, no discomfort, no mishandling of notes. She still has a fine voice. It's the influence of unconventional vocal technique/embellishments that disappoints me a little.
