The fact that you were not feeling well and still made a video, and a great one at that, says a lot about who you are as a person. Your subscribers/ followers and I luv you for that!!!!! Ten days in and your hair still looked amazing! I live in TX and I have to include gel in my styling or my styles just won’t last. I can’t wait to try CR butter gel to see if it helps. Thanks for sharing. Feel better soon.
First let me say I wish you a speedy recovery ❤🙏🏾 next that Aloe Whipped Butter Gel to me gives better definition than the Almond Jai. The Aloe Whipped Butter Gel is now my go to for a twist out or braid out.
Aloe Butter Gel is both my Leave-In and Styler because it can be used for both steps. It's the happy medium between Almond Jai and Curlaide Butter. I use it in the shower on my freshly washed damp hair and layer my wetline gel for wash n go or add my grease at the tip and a little on top if I'm twisting or braiding. I have a mixed texture of type 4 natural hair and although it doesnt provide definition, it gives me the moisture I need for my hot and humid weather which i counter with the Wetline and the Blue Magic grease.
Hi Rae, Oh my, prayers for healing and feeling better. I love the CR Algae deep conditioner, too. I really love the curl milk, and both the original curl butters they give great definition, but since moving from Mo. to Louisiana my hair friz with it part I believe its the humidity and the grey so I started adding a little Jojoba oil to my hair to keep the friz down when I use it. I'm finding that with grey hair, I have to add a little oil to my hair after the creams and now testing my grey reactions to gels as the weather warms up. Your hair is beautiful.
Thanks for the prayers; I'm feeling much better. CR is just a great brand to me. I like a lot of the products and the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel did not disappoint. Thanks for sharing your tips on how to keep the frizz down on gray hair in the humidity. I'm sure it is helpful to some in the comments. 💛
Had it in my stash since black Friday soft hold but tons of moisture & definition used on wet and dry hair with & without leave in used Camille rosemary water mist & add a little on dry strands to add curls back this will definitely be a stable for my 3a-3c curls
Thanks for sharing how you use the product and the results you get. I'm sure somone with your hair type will appreciate your feedback. Thanks for tuning in.
Hello Rae! I hope you are feeling better. Your hair turned out beautifully with the whipped butter gel. Even on day 10 your definition was quite good. Seems like this would be a great product to try. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Rae, great video and beautiful results! I love many of the products from Camille Rose and look forward to trying this styler out in the future. I absolutely love the Algae Renew Deep Conditioner you mentioned in the video, as well.
Hopefully you will get to feeling better! The 10 day hair is a whole vibe. I thought I was the only one left with parched hair after Cécred use😢. I do love Camille Rose Naturals
Naw, you're not the only one. I think most people had parched hair but some don't want to admit it. Anywho, thanks for tuning in and yes, I am feeling much better.
Hey Rae, I really apprciate all your reviews. I try the gel for my TWA wash and go and it was prefect. I have fine color treated hair. Thanks for all your hard work:)
Hi Rae First of all I am praying for a speedy recovery and thanks for sharing even though you weren’t feeling your best. Secondly I already have the Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel and the Love Moisture Milk that I have never opened and will try soon for a wash and go and then a twist out since I have mastered my wng technique and still working on the twist out.
Awwh Rae first I want to say I hope you are feeling better! 💙.. And I really like your hair! I do luv CR products but I don’t have this one but definitely going to pick it up! 🥰💙
Hey Rae hope your feeling better, that hydrating shampoo from cecred has very cleansing surfactants in it I used it and it stripped my hair so I imagine if you use both the clarifying shampoo and the hydrating shampoo your hair would be extremely dry, you only need one of them to get the job done.😊❤
Hi Shante! I am feeling much better. I understand what you're saying about the shampoos, but I followed the directions. It clearly stated to follow the clarifying shampoo with the hydrating one, so that is what I did. I wanted to review the kit so I used all products in the kit. In any event, you live and learn, but I won't be using the products again because I just don't think they are the best for my hair. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for tuning in.
Thank you! No, I never added more product. I only retwisted once and then it stayed twisted up because I was sick. It stayed moisturized until I washed it.
I tried that whipped butter gel when I first went natural and I did like it,. My hair was thicker when I was using it. I think it will be to heavy for my fine hair now.
I don't know. You probably could use it for a wash and go with no problem. Also, if you can use the pattern cream, I think you would be able to use this. Just my opinion, but I'm guessing. thansk for tuning in.
Hey Ms. Rae Rae, you may have better results if your hair was actually needing to be clarified. I know you don't allow your hair to go past 5 days usually, and although you had a butter in your hair, that doesn't necessarily mean a clarifying shampoo is best!!! I tried Cecred after 6days and it stripped it...but when I stretched my wash day 12days (yes I know 😂😝) it was GREAT!!!! I am always more mindful of when a clarifying shampoo is used. I don't use it on a "schedule" like once a month...I use it when my hair needs to be clarified 🥰🥰🥰 Great video per usual ❤️
I agree that going longer could have made the Cecred feel better, but since I used butters plus had used something with silicones earlier, I thought it would be fine. Also, clarifiers come in different strengths so I had no way of knowing how strong the Cecred was. In any event, I don't care for the products enough to use them so it's water under the bridge now anyway. I'm glad you enjoyed it after finding out when to use it. Did you enjoy her other products, too?
Hmmm, it's been so long since I used the Almond Jai that I don't remember. However, I don't need my twisting butter to have slip so I am okay with that. I think the definition and moisture was on point so I'm happy with it and can't wait to see how it works for a wash and go. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts💛
You weren’t the only one whose hair needed to bounce back from dryness after a Cecred wash day. I recently watched another content creator say the same thing. What a shame. Anyhoo, I really like Camille Rose Algae Renew as well. I just don’t love the price or size of the jar. I think I saw that you’ve tried Giovanni’s Tea Tree conditioner, but have you tried their 50:50 Balanced conditioner? It’s a $16 miracle in a huge 33 oz pump bottle for my hair, especially following a clarifying shampoo session. Silicone free, amazing slip, good ingredients, protein-free, and doesn’t leave an oily coating behind. It feels like a more slippery version of Texture ID Triple Moisture plus a more hydrating/softening version of CR Algae Renew. Love the little Cotton barks 🥰
I have used Giovanni leave-in back in the day, but I never tried the 50:50. I've heard great things about it. I was thinking of doing a video on OG products and if I still liked them...but I haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for the reminder. I may have to pick up the 50:50 because you make it sound delicious! Thanks for sharing and for tuning in.💛
@@NaturalRaeRae Happy to help! I’ve been eyeing the Direct Leave-In for a while, so a throwback video with that in it would be amazing 🙌🏾 Others have vaguely raved about it, but I know we’d get honest and detailed feedback from you. If you decide to shoot for the big 33 oz pump bottle of the 50:50 Conditioner, check TJ Maxx/Marshalls (ignore me if you already knew this). That’s where I bought mine ($14.99) plus another one from this brand that I’ve heard good things about, the 2Chic Ultramoist Conditioner. Otherwise, Whole Foods and of course Amazon carry smaller bottles of Giovanni products.

Thank you; I feel much better. I really like the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel; I stopped using the Almond Jai years ago. Thanks for tuning in.
Love this cream out of 3 that Camille rose has! Gives me good definition especially when paired with their mousse and it has my hair feeling soft.
Are you using this combo for a wash and go or a twist out?
Hi, I would also love to know if you're using it for wash and gos 😉
@@NaturalRaeRae definitely a twist out. I don’t get enough hold for a wash and go

Yes it does
