Wow what a man. I loved BIG BAAZAR and used to travel 80km every month from our village for my monthly shopping. I have not entered any Reliance store ever since the takeover.

Whenever we use to go to big bazar we used to eat sweet corn that was sold on the ground floor. It was our first mall we ever visted lots of memories and the massage chair . But it is closed now
Big Bazaar still has our emotions attached. whenever we go to kothrud side and wanted to talk about nearby places we still say that wo big bazaar wali jagah hai na waha se kaha aana hai..😔😔

I invested in a flat under construction for 40 lakhs 7 years ago on a loan, sold it for 67 lakhs recently and repaid the loan with interest and still made a lot of profit. If I didn't take a risk, I would still be in the same place I was 10 years ago.
I remember I purchased a lot of clothes during Dec 2018. There were discounts going on and a lot of money I got back in Future wallet which I reused to buy clothes. I still have those clothes and cherish those memories. I miss Big Bazaar

We used to go to the food court and I always used to order a chicken burger with some drinks and mom took a dosa, Before that we used to buy various snacks. You know how indian Parents are during exams, moms dont let us eat unhealthy, so that used to be my day. We kept on doing it, and each time bought some stuffs,... things were small but enjoyable. It went on till 7th standard. After lockdown, last day before summer vac, I decided to visit it with my friends for the first time. But it was gone, Reliance Smart Bazaar name ka kuch was gonna open and upper floors were shut. Now that I see This Video, those times there feel nostalgic, also the above comments made me think abt those times. Various children from my school, and other schools were there with their mothers and friends. Senior students sat and chat and roamed around as well. I used to wonder what happened actually, Why it closed down. Now I am in 12th Standard, and will pass out in 3-4 months. That was a part of my childhood🎒🤍

i believe the only reason grocery stores still exist is due to matters of convenience, any large format store can match or exceed financial incentives of a local store, but cannot absorb unplanned purchase demand unless they go hyperlocal
One thing which is common here that Kishore Biyani opened a lot of his initial stores of Pantaloons or Big Bazar at Kolkata during 90s and early 2000's. This is unimaginable today, no one in 2024 will open their first store or start their business from Kolkata, sad but true.

Big bazaar is so so nostalgic for me. It opened around mid 2000s in my city and literally everyone went to the opening , it was a long queue, longest I've ever seen. Then a few years later it closed, the building still exists but only the parking lot is still being used. Also their generic products and brands are better than almost all malls I've ever been in

After lockdown, last day before summer vac, I decided to visit it with my friends for the first time. But it was gone, Reliance Smart Bazaar name ka kuch was gonna open and upper floors were shut.
Now that I see This Video, those times there feel nostalgic, also the above comments made me think abt those times. Various children from my school, and other schools were there with their mothers and friends. Senior students sat and chat and roamed around as well.
I used to wonder what happened actually, Why it closed down. Now I am in 12th Standard, and will pass out in 3-4 months. That was a part of my childhood🎒🤍
A Marwadi never loses money. The promoter is the first one to sense trouble and also the first one to jump out with life jacket. Others, especially the last ones who boarded, sink.😊

One thing which is common here that Kishore Biyani opened a lot of his initial stores of Pantaloons or Big Bazar at Kolkata during 90s and early 2000's. This is unimaginable today, no one in 2024 will open their first store or start their business from Kolkata, sad but true.

Big bazaar is so so nostalgic for me. It opened around mid 2000s in my city and literally everyone went to the opening , it was a long queue, longest I've ever seen. Then a few years later it closed, the building still exists but only the parking lot is still being used. Also their generic products and brands are better than almost all malls I've ever been in
