The 2018 VW Tiguan will be available in two different sizes, depending on the market, a regular- and a long-wheelbase version.
Both new versions are wider, longer and have a longer wheelbase than the old Tiguan.
On a global scale, the next Tiguan will be available with no fewer than eight different engines, four diesel and four gasoline. In Canada it will feature the 2.0 TSI Turbocharged gas engine.

I have a 2009 Tiguan and it's the best car I've ever owned. It's only got 127 thousand on it. Yes parts are not cheap but I've found it to be reliable and it's a blast to drive. The turbo is there If you need the power and day to day driving it's really good on gas. Again you have to use premium but it lasts . Only time it will chew is if you drive it hard which I don't do. The seats are very comfortable too. You can tell why it cost more . I've had mine 2 years now. I think when it comes time to trade in I might get one of these R lines. That stereo rocks and you did a great review. I just subscribed.

Does not matter for you, but I have stopped the video when you spotted the little narrow spots that looked like cd slots, to go online and see what they are, when I found the answer I played your video and you said Card Slots half a second I resumes, I had a great laugh

Someone told me for the US, this is the early 2017 model, but later in the half year.. perhaps just before summer, the redesigned version which is available in europe will be for sale.
Yeah, there is a redesign for the Tiguan coming! In north american, it will probably be marketed as the 2018! The Tiguan is different in every country. Different trims, different wheelbases. It's crazy and it makes research for a vehicle review very difficult!
I bought the Tiguan limited in 2018 and love it but the service department needs help in communication.

i bought a 2017 tigun limited my problem is HOWW TO LOCK TRUNK????? ive been trying i lock the doors with remote..then i press the truck lock and lock i come out aer 15mins..to check if trunks locked...and its open....can you help me..also if my battery dies..how touse key to open?????

Do your research ,practice, learn your product ,educate yourself especially about cars in general and then you can turn on the camera

i just got a 2017 wolfsburg edition on monday. Within 2 days I completely regretted it. Who designs such shitty front air vents. Seriously, a/c shouldn't be something that I complain about but It either blows directly in your face or directly away. You can't angle it to point down. I absolutely hate this car.
Kimberly R do you still regret your decision to buy it? I have the Tiguan sport edition, one step up from the Wolfsburg and I absolutely love the comfortability and feel of the car. Literally the only thing I really can't stand on it is the the circular vents.
