I feel like the only way Claudia could possibly be redeemed is if Terry and Soren stage an intervention together. But even then, I would like to see only a partial redemption for her. Not a full-fledged good guy, but less evil than she is now. I also agree that we need to see more Rayllum and stop treating Viren's magic coins like a thing that gets referenced every once in a while with little to no payoff. We have maybe 18 episodes left of this series based on the 9 episode seasons prior to this. And in that time, even if it's not this season, we need (in my humble opinion): 1. At least 2 Rayla and Callum centric episodes 2. Callum and Claudia magic battle face-off 3. Claudia going full crazy (Azula agni kai style) and swearing vengeance on Rayla 4. An Aaravos flashback episode 5. Soren and Terry being buds (assuming he seeks out the heroes based on loving Claudia enough to know Soren is the key to helping her) 6. Claudia self-reflection episode and accepting or denying the heroes' help Honestly, I feel like Claudia could go either way at this point. She's never felt like a villain. She's always felt more like an anti-hero that skirts the darkness. She's done terrible things but it's always been from a place of love. I'd love for her to be redeemed (at least partially) for Soren and Terry's sakes, but at the same time I feel like she would reject redemption because she would see Terry, Soren, and Callum's attempts to help her as a betrayal.
I defiently think we’re getting that Clauida reflecting episode. Especially after looking at the poster and in it she looks more sad than crazy or vengeful. Even her leaving Terry is more of the classic, I’m leaving you before you can leave me logic. I think we’re gonna get a Zuko Alone style arc for her, where we get some flashbacks to her childhood as she tries to figure herself out. We could finally see what exactly Viren did to save Soren as a child, and also why her mom completely disappeared from her life without making any attempt to contact or visit her kids for over ten years. I also think she’s going to run into Kruha from the graphic novel Puzzle House, since them meeting up again was for-shadowed at the end of the book. Maybe he’ll force her to confront how much she’s changed and offer her one last chance at atoning for everything.

I think people give Rayla and Callum's relationship too much credit. They got together pretty fast, and while he and Claudia were never official, he had a crush on her long before he met Rayla, and he got over as fast as he started courting Rayla.
You do have a point Callum and Claudia knew each other for like,what, 10-11 years of their lives and were practically living in the same house (I know it was a castle but,still) How did Callum and Rayla first meet? She broke into his home with the intention of killing his little brother. Sure, Rayla didn't follow through with that but Callum had a legitimate reason not to trust Rayla in the beginning. Also, considering that,I don't ask "Why didn't Claudia trust Rayla?" I ask, "Why not?"
I hope for this upcoming season we do get a epic Callum Claudia fight in the final episode, where Callum is kinda struggling to keep up with her, leading to her either getting Aaravos' prison or breaking it, leading to Aaravos becoming free, and killing Claudia like its nothing to really so the viewer how strong he is.

However, in the trailer, she says "my dad left me" because he might've already died before she did it, or she might've not found him or something (maybe the spell only works if the person is (sorta) alive while it's being casted, like how Viren was alive for 30 days). It might be that, or it might just be because her leg got cut off and she tried to fix it?
I am still waiting on Rayla to apologize to Callum for leaving him. I understand why she left and I understand that she wanted to keep Callum safe for the fear of loosing him, nevertheless she still hurt him deeply and needs to apologize.

They met when Rayla was planning to kill Ezra, and while Callum and Claudia were never official, he knew her much longer than he did Rayla, and yet he still made such a quick transition. He didn't get an episode to contemplate the betrayal.

Oh wow! This look breathtaking! Sooo excited for season 6! Also, it's just ocurred to me that Claudia's arc has a lot in common with that of Jinx from Arcane and I'm all for it! Both shows are pure bliss.

Claudia in season 6 has no motivation to continue freeing Aaravos. But i don't think she should be redeemed yet. Claudia best battle was against Ibis. But the finale against the main group feels underwhelming? Claudia deserves at least one good fight against our heroes.

I struggle to see the external/main conflict in this season. Like the main issue was Aaravos in last seasons, but now they have him safely away and Claudia has no motivation to free him anymore. I feel like it’ll be a lot of solving internal conflicts with the characters (like Rayla’s parents) and they are probably going to make Callum “accidentally” free Aaravos so that they can profit from another season

Honestly, I haven't watched this show since the first few episodes of Season 1. I don't know, I guess I just sort of fell off the fandom/show bandwagon, I guess it just never really caught my attention quite like _other_ fantasy shows did at the time, shows like _She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,_ or _Trollhunters:Tales of Arcadia,_ or Hell, even _Voltron_ kept and continues to keep my attention far more than _this_ show did or does...Maybe I should try to give it another chance, another watch...

If going based on Callum's prior understandings of arcanum he'll need some level of life-threatening peril to awaken his connection to a primal source; Sky: post-dark magic he reflected on and challenged his own inner demons before the "memory" of his mother told him to breathe, ocean: Finnegrin's use of ocean magic to leave him still allowed him to reflect upon an ocean poem and learn that it was about control. With that in mind it's likely he'll need to "fall" in order to understand Star magic, especially since he needed to believe in himself (on some level) before the wing-magic could manifest. Claudia is unlikely to go full-villain, but since she's always used dark magic more to please her father it's likely that she'll need to face Callum and realize there's another way than relying on "death magic" to become powerful, and the darker she's become it seemed like she was also losing a part of herself
i actually would like to see Claudia vs rayla and claudia is still kinda into callum and so they fight for his love. also i like how in the final episode viren realises the path he has taken is evil and quits dark magic and tells Aarovos hes done with him good character develoment for viren really liked that.
I am begging any producers from dragon prince to PLEASE BRING back Runaan! I loved his character and I want to see him come to an adjusted world and maybe see Euthari! I legt binged through s1-s3 and i was so hyped going into s4 but then found out rayllum had gone from my newest otp to wtf i was rooting for you. So i just quit s4 all together and decided to wait and see if they FINALLY get back together in s6.
After looking at her expression in the poster, I think she will have a Zuko Alone arc, where she can finally reflect on some of past, and maybe give us a flashback to her mom leaving her. She might run into a character from Puzzle House, who might force her to face how much she’s changed. That being said, I feel she’s done too much to be redeemed. And as you say, reconciliation with the rest of the cast is too out of the question for her. I would call it more of atonement, where she can help the gang save the day and that earns her a lighter punishment and some spiritual peace.
i kind of hope she never gets a redemption arc like commit to a full corruption arc. it’d be neat if she eventually does unalive terry so show she really is far gone
I really feel like the whole reason Viren has been dragged around for 2 seasons is so he can talk Claudia off the path. With Callum using dark magic at the end of season 5 I feel like he will more likely be the star elf's passage out of the prison.

People love broken characters (like Zuko) getting "mended". So they could be going in that direction with her. OR, they just make her a straight up villain which also would be a little refreshing.
Callum is nowhere near Claudia it’s been just a few years ! At this point the best battle would Viren vs Claudia and at this point in sheer power she has surpassed him but he has skill on his side if it’s soon he still can beat her !

I agree with you I watched this show back when the third season ended and was so hyped for season 4 but it’s went downhill. Everything I loved about that show is just gone without a trace. Season 4 feels like an entirely different show in a bad way. Rayla isn’t even rayla tbh. I don’t see the show redeeming itself for its remaining run time.
In my opinion, this is just desperation. They show you a recap of everything that came before, the good and the later seasons (post season 3) without adding anything new other that the Claudia clip, dangling keys in front of the viewer’s face. I want this season to be good but after season 4 and the hopeful season 5, I’m still not sure if it can pull it off. I’d honestly love to be proven wrong on this but idk.

I wish for Claudia to end up at the end of the path she has taken, a dark one. I want no redemption for her. I want to see a villain who dies the way they live. I'm also excited what's going to happen to the Sunfire Prince and his army. I really like this character because his motives are in the gray, its just his ways are questionable.
ATLA did the uko redemption arc the best. Everybody since has tried to copy it and it's been pretty okay to bad. Catra was boring and drawn out, and Claudia's is just annoying. Somebody described dragon price as the most OK show in teh world. I think a more apt description is aggressively mediocre.

This is what made me drop the series. I was burnt out of seeing main guy hooks up with main girl trend.

What about a redemption that comes too late? Where she can't regain the trust of the other characters again but still has to press forward, not for them, but for herself and becomes a better person for people she interacts with in the future.

Our favorite moonshadow elf is about to have her hands full. Claudia is going to be a great psycho villian! Can't wait to watch it unfold!!
Claudia would probably get a redemption arc in the final season and it would go to the total of book 7 dark magic after this season wraps up maybe she tries to murder Rayla to get back at Callum or destroy the coins that Rayla has in her possession or she tries to kill Callum but Aarovos posses him then talk to Claudia saying do you really think I was going to save your father he was to become my mind controlled slave then Claudia turns good somehow turn away from the dark magic Crack then she unlocks Sun magic or Earth magic then she along with Callum Rayla Soren and Ezran defeats Aarovos with the star spear or Sword then Callum unlocked all seven primal magics in the box to trap Aarvos in then the story wraps up with Callum marry Rayla they have kids Ezran marry that princess who lesbian parents was killed in the second season Claudia marry Terry and Zim meets a female dragon and the elves and humans and dragons live peacefully

I'm wondering if Callum losing his wings and falling blindfolded from the sky was his attempt to retrieve those items... you know, the info he found in a book from Luxauria's (ap?) Great Bookery, where there are these rare items that could stop/end Aaravos? He had to go to the "Sky Scraper". Looks like he couldn't reach it and began to fall. That's my hypothesis.

Honestly, I haven't watched this show since the first few episodes of Season 1. I don't know, I guess I just sort of fell off the fandom/show bandwagon, I guess it just never really caught my attention quite like _other_ fantasy shows did at the time, shows like _She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,_ or _Trollhunters:Tales of Arcadia,_ or Hell, even _Voltron_ kept and continues to keep my attention far more than _this_ show did or does...Maybe I should try to give it another chance, another watch...
I have a question did you watch the last season of Voltron and Trollhunters rise of the titans? If so which one dropped the ball harder in terms of bad writing.

Toby being the Trollhunter makes _absolutely no fucking sense._ Also, he should have time traveled back to the beginning of the _movie,_ not the beginning of the _entire series._

If going based on Callum's prior understandings of arcanum he'll need some level of life-threatening peril to awaken his connection to a primal source; Sky: post-dark magic he reflected on and challenged his own inner demons before the "memory" of his mother told him to breathe, ocean: Finnegrin's use of ocean magic to leave him still allowed him to reflect upon an ocean poem and learn that it was about control. With that in mind it's likely he'll need to "fall" in order to understand Star magic, especially since he needed to believe in himself (on some level) before the wing-magic could manifest.
Claudia is unlikely to go full-villain, but since she's always used dark magic more to please her father it's likely that she'll need to face Callum and realize there's another way than relying on "death magic" to become powerful, and the darker she's become it seemed like she was also losing a part of herself

my theory for callum in the ending is that he's trying to find out the star arcanium, flying up high while blindfolded to be with the stars

i actually would like to see Claudia vs rayla and claudia is still kinda into callum and so they fight for his love. also i like how in the final episode viren realises the path he has taken is evil and quits dark magic and tells Aarovos hes done with him good character develoment for viren really liked that.
I am begging any producers from dragon prince to PLEASE BRING back Runaan! I loved his character and I want to see him come to an adjusted world and maybe see Euthari! I litterly went back to season 1 just to see him! But with 18 episode left I doubt we'll get that much content. Like just imagine Ethari moved on

After looking at her expression in the poster, I think she will have a Zuko Alone arc, where she can finally reflect on some of past, and maybe give us a flashback to her mom leaving her.
She might run into a character from Puzzle House, who might force her to face how much she’s changed.
That being said, I feel she’s done too much to be redeemed. And as you say, reconciliation with the rest of the cast is too out of the question for her. I would call it more of atonement, where she can help the gang save the day and that earns her a lighter punishment and some spiritual peace.
Not so much as Zuko alone, more like that one Azula haircut moment

I really feel like the whole reason Viren has been dragged around for 2 seasons is so he can talk Claudia off the path. With Callum using dark magic at the end of season 5 I feel like he will more likely be the star elf's passage out of the prison.

Throwing in my two cents here, I have a feeling that Aaravos is going to be the driving force of Claudia going full on Azula, maybe he'll use her past trauma to manipulate her into getting him out of his prison and in return, bring her father back to life...Or at least that what he tells her before possibly killing her because he got what he wanted.

People love broken characters (like Zuko) getting "mended". So they could be going in that direction with her. OR, they just make her a straight up villain which also would be a little refreshing.
Callum is nowhere near Claudia it’s been just a few years ! At this point the best battle would Viren vs Claudia and at this point in sheer power she has surpassed him but he has skill on his side if it’s soon he still can beat her !
I got to say the show has had some pretty good moments and started out pretty well, but it’s just gone downhill…. It’s nowhere near the show. The last Airbender was. Nowhere near close.
I agree with you I watched this show back when the third season ended and was so hyped for season 4 but it’s went downhill. Everything I loved about that show is just gone without a trace. Season 4 feels like an entirely different show in a bad way. Rayla isn’t even rayla tbh. I don’t see the show redeeming itself for its remaining run time.
Maybe that's part of the problem; too many people are expecting another "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

In my opinion, this is just desperation. They show you a recap of everything that came before, the good and the later seasons (post season 3) without adding anything new other that the Claudia clip, dangling keys in front of the viewer’s face. I want this season to be good but after season 4 and the hopeful season 5, I’m still not sure if it can pull it off. I’d honestly love to be proven wrong on this but idk.

It's hard to say. This show seems to be taking quite a few elements from the Avatar franchise, like its magic system.

"She-Ra and the Princesses of Power," "Steven Universe," and "The Owl House" has its fair share of redemption arcs and sympathetic antagonists, and a lot of them have been criticized for being rushed or unearned.

I'm also excited what's going to happen to the Sunfire Prince and his army. I really like this character because his motives are in the gray, its just his ways are questionable.
ATLA did the uko redemption arc the best. Everybody since has tried to copy it and it's been pretty okay to bad. Catra was boring and drawn out, and Claudia's is just annoying.
Somebody described dragon price as the most OK show in teh world. I think a more apt description is aggressively mediocre.
