    Love to hear the experience of the elder Mutabaruka. At the same time him, Prof-I, and anyone who say Rastafari and Haile Selassie I is the Almighty, that turn round and burn fire on the Bible is speaking in contradiction because HIM would never say that. This is not the teaching of HIM. Still InI appreciate the elders all the while.

    • @ganjafarmer1572
      @ganjafarmer1572 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      H.I.M. cautions I&I quite clearly on the distinction of religion and spirituality. One cannot ascend the Ethiopian throne without going through the church , so H.I.M. was able to walk the fine line between these two forces. Rastafari is not church , nor religion , but rather black liberation livity. The question to be asked is why some rasses here in JA are upholding christian traditions like keeping sabbath. With so much information available today why not use Afrikan information like Ma'at rather than Matthew , Mark , Luke and John ?

    • @ganjafarmer1572
      @ganjafarmer1572 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Free. Will in JA Sabbath is practiced religiously by Seventh Day Adventists , who are christians. I encourage you to read H.I.M. Haile Selassie's words on religion/spirituality , they are easily found online. Religion/church/bible/laws of Moses are rituals and rules made by MEN , and which have failed miserably. Spirituality is on the other hand alive and well.

    • @ganjafarmer1572
      @ganjafarmer1572 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Free. Will "Nature is an illusion" ??? Mary , Jesus/Yesus/Adam/Eve are illusions. Our brains can't comprehend the universe so we create fantasies to try explain what we can't get our little heads around. Preachers/rabbis/imans use their rituals to control people

    • @ራስአንበሳተፈሪ
      @ራስአንበሳተፈሪ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ganjafarmer1572 I can agree with what the I is saying, at the same time keeping sabbath is African. His Majesty declared that any man found working on the sabbath would be punished in Ethiopia. Many of us have dug deeper than just KJV translation, so we know we are no longer bothered by names like Mark Luke Jesus Timothy, etc. when we now have the right resources on linguistics. If one ask why Rastas uphold Christian tradition then ask why His Majesty uphold Christian tradition? Rastafari is church, but church is not limited to the building, and it certainly isn't that westernized stuff we see today. Also depending on what speech you are referring to if it is the one that says "temple of most high/africans in bondage" then that is not HIM speech but another author whose name I can't recall.

    • @ganjafarmer1572

      @@ራስአንበሳተፈሪ The I ever hear Bongo Watto reason ? Rastafari is not religion. I repeat : one cannot ascend the throne without going through the E. Orthodox church , a so it set from time. Rastafari is not church ; church is "a building used for public christian worship". Where is reference to H.I.M. concerning work on sabbath? Some say "temple of the most high" was written by Amentu Nyenge , I have not seen the proof. Haile I

    🇯🇲Elder Mutabaruka's presence is Rastafari. When I see him, and hear his reasoning, I see the continent of Africa, all 54 countries.
    Yes, the trod of the elder Rastafari cannot compare to the current understanding of those embracing Rastafari. This generation Livity of Rastafari is seeing Rastafari as Reggae music, twist up hair, and ganja smoking. Full stop.
    In my opinion, I cannot Image a one embracing Rastafari, but don't want the African presence in his clothing. In my opinion, that one is null and void when it comes to Rastafari.🦁🎤🎶❤️🇯🇲

      @@imsk6729 I only represent myself. I am not a follower or a joiner. In your eyes, I would not qualify as Rastafari, based on your interpretation. Yes, I don't qualify. I have said it before the movement is splintered - with many judges - therefore many are afraid to have an honest opinion in case they are "crucified." I have a boarding pass that is stamped 21st April 1966, Palisados Airport. I know several Rastafari since the 60s, and they don't all share the same philosophy of the Rastafari Movement. Many check for the Bible, and many would disgard it. I am in know position to judge anyone's Livivity or religion. I acknowledge those whose philosophy is on line with mine, and that's free speech. Many who are speaking on Rastafari has come to their knowledge from the leaves not the branch or the root. Blessed love!
