I keep my cats inside 100% of time now.* But have put a bird inside a box, for a wee rest. It recovered nicely not sure is it was a pigeon, something about that size. Cats are soooo destructive to wild life in australia. There are so many tiny marsupials that look like mice '/ rats. And so much bird life depends on tiny lizards, and insects to survive.
