I built my whole hybrid solar/ hydro system 100% solo. I only have 60 ft of head but a ton of seasonal flow.500 gpm +. My penstock is 1,000 ft of 8” schedule 80 pvc pipe in 10 ft. Sections. It was heavy and a pain to bury in the super rocky ground beside my creek. I have two turgo turbines ( also built by Spencer Langston ) I also have 5k of solar to offset the drier summer days. My electronics are 6- Lifepo4 lithium batteries Schneider inverter and solar charger.all from Langston Alternative Power. I would have never been able to do any of this without Spencer Langston. What a great guy.
Haha that's it! Flows around 70gpm in the summer and 20 in the winter. Should be enough to produce at least 1000 continuous watts once I get it dialed in which is more power than I need :)
@anshumansarkar3206 Haha don't worry, I haven't given up - I'm still building the system so I'll upload videos as fast as I can :) I'm also learning how to do the videos so I'll try in 1080p. Thanks for your feedback, so much learning!!!
@@manvsland Good job! Dont bother to film everything, because its not onlythe filming that is a lot of work, but also the cutting. A video length of 20 minutes is just perfect.
Wow ! Now.
If i just could someone that worked half as hard as you down here. That was an amazing amount of work and determination.❤Awesome job!

Haha great advice! I've definitely filmed everything so far and putting it together is certainly a labour of love :)
