Every character is annoying as fuck to deal with if the player is good. I rather play against a bad Goldlewis, ramlethal, Happy chaos etc than playing against an "honest" character like Chipp, Ky, Zato etc
He did throw into RC without looking to see if the throw landed, which at such low health is almost a checkmate. If the throw lands, you cancel it and kill them with a normal or a combo (like he did here). If the throw whiffs (for example, the opponent backdashed), you can punish whatever it is they did to dodge your throw. If he didn't do that and the opponent dodged the throw, he would have to REACT to himself whiffing the throw to save himself with RC, at which point it might be too late. This covers almost all situations while still guaranteeing a kill.
strive players constantly complaining about how the game is unfun to play and then continuing to play it is so funny to me. you know you can just go to xrd or blazblue right???
Whats crazy is how they complain about things making the game more fun, like the changes to BT. It increased the decision making, skill cap, and execution of the character, isn't this what you all wanted?!
I'm okay with the patch. It notoriously test the waters a lot which allows some jank but I think eventually the game will reshape into something better imo. I am not entirely happy with some of the character's balancing or reworks but Arcsys is probably aware of the reception, da future looks bright since they're adding sauce left and right (though they seem to delete some of it too).
We've had one of the most crybaby FG communities for a while, but despite the whining, people are too attached to the game to leave it. I myself critize and cry sometimes about the game (mainly about ASW) but the game is still really fun and good
happy chaos season 1 aside, I think strive is one of modern arcsys' better balanced fightera across the entirety of its lifespan. DBFZ had bardock, kid goku, UI goku and lab coat 21 all of which were insanely busted. BBCT had Rachel being busted iirc? BBCS had Makoto, Carl I think and BBCF had Nine as the menace. Xrd had day 1 Elphelt committing crimes she still hasn't been forgiven for. Rev had Johnny.
