- Hey everyone, we're deep in production on Lackadaisy Season 1 right now, but we want to fill you in on some big news! We're excited to announce that we're partnering with Glitch Productions to power LackadaisyShop... !
The Glitch team knows a thing or two about funding amazing animated indie shows, and how vital direct viewer support is to running an ongoing production. They've used that knowledge to launch the FinalFinal_Project project. We are over the moon to be able to be a part of it because, through FFP, we're able to create a stunning array of high quality merch and use the proceeds to fund Lackadaisy production. Not only can viewers get some swanky cat-stuff, but you also get to determine just how long and how great we can make each animated episode!

Two things I love about indie animation.
1. They have the best merch.
2. They have the best ads for said best merch.
3.Don't have to go through so much bureaucracy and red tape to get it out.
4.They hire the best VAs in the business.
5. They make the VAs get along in about 2 mins I think
6. The VAs try to make some ads funny as it fits their character perfectly
7. They actually have creative, unique, and passionate projects
So far the ads are just the noncanon episodes

There's something beautiful about how in an age where the big animation studios are at constant competition with each other, the indie animators decide to collaborate and support each other instead. It's amazing what kind of things passionate people can do when we all band together and lift each other up.

Using public domain footage from the 1920s to promote plushies of characters from that era is absolutely genius.
It's easy to forget that all these movie clips that plush Rocky and Mordecai are interacting with are the recent (and relativity recent) pop culture of their time.
