The sinop refusing to be in that division was so funny, as i constantly have the same problem when my BB gets torpedoed and it joins my dd which is performing a torpedo run
At first I thought Sokolov had gone down the path of his namesake and started hallucinating. But then I saw that first combat. The IJN actually did a 50% Second Pacific Squadron Run. Good lord.
@@Neuttah *British That's how they nearly started a war, and the British admiral in charge proposed to leave most of his ships behind to be 'chivalrous' to the Russians, since it was already massively unfair.
an idea I've had for this game is the ability to reduce research to certain areas. you know how you can set 3 priorities? imagine doing that but you can sacrifice research in one area for others. so if you wanted you could say 'I don't want research into Torpedos'
@Stealth17 the ships switch divisions when they start to take damage. my ships always do it when they start to slow down or lose their rudders. If you have 4 Divs follow each other the damaged ship always ends up in the last Div. I think this happens so the speed can be maintained. But so far every time this happens the Ship going to the rear chooses to go in front of the others and not into cover.
I have noticed this same thing, especially if you are using that 'follow' command. It is kinda nice to see that someone else has had same problems, or well, it is not nice, but we are not alone with this.
From what I've seen, the problem you have with the ships switching division is related to the "Follow" command. Try to use another command the next time
This is the kind of battle where I initially order line abreast retreat at about 10kn, with torpedo avoidance on. I let them come to me with limited torp solutions. At slow speed my ships can auto-dodge easily and don't get too separated. Once they've been thinned out and/or launched a few torp salvos, that's when I turn and chase them down.
Ships when they take damage will automatically fall back to the rear of a division if the damage if severe enough and if a group is following the division that the damaged ship is in it will automatically go to the back of that column.
the Sinop identifies as a damaged ship. in most cases a damaged ship will see itself to the back of the line. the back of the line in this case was with the CA division because it was following your BB battle line division.
I'm seeing very similar problems as you had with the Sinop. Divisions constantly reorganizing themselves all over. Its incredibly frustrating yet commenting on things like this on UAD forums gets zero response.
Ships are always switching division if they are damaged and fall back. If there are ships following its original division they are joining these. I hate that mechanic.. I hate that whole card division system..
@@Stealth17Gaming I dont know how old this "bug" is. I first encountered it maby 3 months ago. But its probably older if we consider the state of the game..
if you have one division following another, heavily damaged ships from the leading division will fall out of line and join the following division. I think it makes this determination based off of how much speed it has lost. If you want to avoid this, just don't have a following division. For the record I like this behavior as it has saved many of my ships from getting hit far worse after they are no longer combat effective.
IJN travels half way around the world to fight the Russians and Kamchatka is nowhere to be seen. What a let down lol. The random division change has been bugging me for about 3 months now. It can be a real pain in the arse.

What was happening was because sinop was damaged it was trying to go to the back of the division and so it joined the following division.
could be worst could lose your only ship to a friendly DD point blank shotgunning torps into it :(

Think they spooked the hell out of a bunch of Singaporean fishermen on the way there?

The OG Evropa still leading the charge after so many years feels like watching the main character of a movie/series
So I feel Sinop's Captain is off to the Gulag!!

Would be great
I feels like Christmas when the Russia campaign is on my for you page appreciate it

Sinop is in her rebellious age
The new admiral is hilarious.
"Do you see torpedo boats?"
no, I see torpedo cruisers
I think the captain of the Sinop needs to walk the plank.
I'm staying up late at night to watch this video (You're the only Ultimate admiral dreadnoughts youtuber that I regularly watch!)
You should court martial the Sinop's captain for munity!!🤣🤣
"Sinop's Captain, go back in the line !!"
- Well my father is chairman in the communist party !
Sounds like it's going to be a great episode!
EDIT: it was a great episode
Sinop: Aight Imma head out

You know given the series Arm Trade Tycoon: Tanks, I wonder if the same could be done with aircraft and ships. It might be interesting.
I think that if succesfull enough, there might be an Arms Trade Tycoon Planes or Ships

I love the new admiral, but I feel like you should have a ship Kamchatka which he would use as flagship
I guess the new admiral is right at home with what Sinop did in that battle.
The Japanese really went full Kitakami there
forgot to upgrade 2 inch deck armour on chesma class. surely isnt gonna be a problem in the future
The Japanese traversed the globe for a fight?
Maybe the Kamchatka was right.
Once you get to 1940s the economy is insanely broke in the game, you can't even afford to field a couple DDs because they cost 80mil a month.
the battle of the intro - wasnt that Prinz Eugen and Admiral Graf Spee from the german fleet and not Japanese?

Like, that shouldn't even be a thing, and neither should the automatic target shifting when the player has ordered a priority target.
Oh ok. Is that a new thing? It's the first I'm seeing of it in hundreds of hours.

...Sorry, for some reason I just root for the AI this entire campaign. I just have... feelings related to Russia.
Go home sinop You’re drunk

the irony of history being reversed and a few decades apart, ever heard of the exploits of the russian baltic fleet in the russo japanes war?
NGL this admiral sounds like a millenial
