Great video, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i cant stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just cant, i love her so much, i dont know why i am bring this here for, i cant stop thinking about her.
think about how she betray you, you will have easy time to forget her and erase her from your mind. make sure to always think of the bad and how it taint any good moment you might have together, and eventually you will assimilate into your brain the idea that even the good moments were bogus, and then you will truly want and be able to forget her for good. then you can try to get the other relationship and work towards getting in a place you cannot be betray again and even if so it will never affect you. once is enough if you know the method to bulletproof your soul from such trickery of the other peoples.
But she does not want you anymore. My situation is similar. He got me back 3 times and every time he regretted it. And I feel sorry for him living w a woman who would rather be alone than w him. Would you enjoy using someone's body who does not want you. How. It's not about how wonderful you are my husband is amazing handsome hardworking in and outside the house it's just that I am not ok and want to be (left) alone. Maybe yeah you can help her w her issues. Go swim together etc but also realise sometimes we really have to let someone go. Give them what they wish for.
I have this book and it’s brilliant. He uses real life examples from history and I honestly learn a lot of general knowledge. It’s basically a book on human nature (though he has a separate book on “human nature”) but I’d recommend 100%, especially if you are likely to be a doormat and like Karinne said, likely to be manipulated. This book _does_ require good judgement, though. And the end of every chapter contains a “reversal” to show how the power can cause harm. Each law is also divided by “transgressions”- misuse of the law, “observance”- proper use of the law, and like I mentioned before the “reversal”. You can use these laws and still be considered a good person. You just have to know how to use them. This book might even make your life easier. Good luck 😉
Wow. This is just a narcissist/sociopath’s handbook. So happy to not live a life this way and that I healed from this type of manipulation and abuse. Took a bit longer with family but it’s nice to still just be my authentic, kind, self but with the awareness that there are people who relish in these games. And how to avoid them 🥰 Sending authentic loving and healing energy~
How is it manipulation when someone just wants to have a more defined life? You don’t have to hurt others just cause you want to take care of yourself and protect your peace. Straight up.
It definitely is! 2 narcs who were in my life followed this. The female she was very cruel, sadistic, manipulative, untrustworthy, it’s a long list but, she got her way. She hurt a lot of people in the process & doesn’t give a fuck. I realized she used many tactics listed here she went HARD solely due to jealousy BUT IT WORKED!!! I was her enemy for years and didn’t even know how or why. Can only be upset with myself for not listening to my intuition. My intuition was more powerful than her and her lies but SHE TRICKED ME LMFAO. I rather know exactly wassup than to not know anything at all. Morally I probably wouldn’t do a few things that I heard. I was wondering how she got away with certain things but Karma snatched her up.
Law 10 is the highlight for me. I was speaking to this friend who had a car accident and she would always complay about her past problems, men issue and all the negativity in her life. Within the same week I nearly had 3 bike accident and also my scalp start to itch badly just as she told me she sufferd from head psorasis. Now it might be a coicidence but I realised that other people's emotional problem can also be transferred to you if you soak up their problems.
OMG! I am going to BUY that book. My gosh you sound like you're describing myself. Thank-you...you are SO sensible...FINALLY someone who has SENSE!!! It's hard to find. I'm glad to know what to buy to read that explains what I exactly NEED to hear. Everything makes sense and I resonate with it as well as knowing a lot of these tips but it's validation that I'm doing the right thing. You're great. Cheers. People have so many Hang-ups! Yeah it's EXHAUSTING!!! you're RIGHT.
I love this book, as well as The Art of Seduction. Like you, I found that I was easily manipulated pretty much my entire life. I began reading Robert Greene’s books as a way to understand why we as people do the things we do & how not to be so naive. Great video.
I feel like this is sinister but it can be used so you’ll know other’s intentions and curve them. You can throw (for lack of better words) a monkey wrench into their plans. I am an empath so I pick up on others state of mind when I first meet them so I start playing the game long before they know how intelligent I am. I hate to say but I get to use them for what purpose I need to all the while pretending just as they do. It is what it is. I learned a long time ago that good people don’t have the option of opting out of this. We have to play or get played. However if I see someone is genuine I won’t play with them but I will forever be on guard.
I realized after listening to this that I have already mastered Law 17 because I always move in silence and only share what I want others to know. Laws 28 and 31 resonated with me and I will work on improving in these areas. Timidity is not of God. Controlling your own narrative is everything and keeps you ahead of the game. I am a new subscriber and look forward to listening to more valuable content on your channel.
"Attract attention at any cost" but "mind your reputation"? Contradictory.🤷🏿♀️ I'm done with playing small for the comfort of others. 💯 As the vibration of humanity ascends, *many things* on this list will become obsolete. Bet on it!✨
His book is like a knife. A knife can cut your food, cut a noose from your neck and help to defend yourself. But it can also hurt seriously hurt people . People who don't like this book are only focused on the latter.
SISSS You just blessed us with this gem!! I read this book and honestly, I noticed such a huge difference once I started applying them in real life😃 Keep up the good work ❤
I read this book in 2008. Changed my life. I ended up reading ALL of Robert Greene’s books!!! He truly helps you understand the flaws of humans and how to deal with them. I recommend that everyone read this man’s books!!!
This is the narcissist playbook! It’s genius but disgusting at the same time: much of it makes sense! However it’s all power play! Narcissistic people are sick.
Law 10 is the only one I can't get with. I work very hard and nothing seems to work for me and life beats me down. I keep going but it's hard. Alot of people could never survive what I've been through . That can cause depression. Its easy for others that have an easier life to be happy. Helping people will bless you .
3 things that make me unique: -work: I draw inspiration and solutions from multiple disciplines when I problem-solve. I listen to opposing ideologies and methods without wavering from my own. I value my peers outside of their achievements. - Social circle: - I nurture my friends however best meets their needs. - I have friends from all walks of life. - I truly celebrate and mourn with my friends. - Relationship: I whisper life into your goals. I take pride in being your confidante. I teach you interdependence in all aspects of life.
Karine, this is a lesson to be narcissistic. Teach people to be kind, compassionate, not look for an opportunity for always scoring, using others. What is this obsession with always being on top, unique, etc? Imagine a world where everyone is trying to score! There was a time when Robert Greene's book made sense, during wars and territory building. Be who you are.If you are chatty patty, chat. You can be wise, and chatty. I have seen people read and practise this book, and they are still there broke, average, in shallow relationships. Very soon people see shallow, calculating people from a far. The world needs warmth now, not scheming calculating sociopaths.
Well stated! This book changed my husband since his oldest sister introduced it to him. He's a total different narcissistic individual. We've been together since high school. He turned into a monster because of this book....
I got this book many years ago and I learned a lot but wasn’t able to finish. I couldn’t believe how evil people can be. But like you say I bought the book to learn not to let others manipulate me.
This is really good, Karine. With the accomplishments I’ve done already, I’ve been following a lot of these & did not even realize it. I’ve never read this book…. So let me go get it now.. 🏃🏽♀️☺️
What makes me unique at work: A genuine smile, hug, and kind word for students and colleagues What makes me unique in my friendship circle: Checking in on my friends What makes me unique in relationships: I have been told since my youth that I have a pure heart and a beautiful spirit.
Law 48 reminds me of how internalizing labels can be so harmful. When we get so fixated on being a certain something, honing on it too much, whether it be our race ethnicity religion (to a worldly degree) gender sexuality anything, it can trap us into a box of not being able to be anything else. at this point in my life, I don’t obsess over anything worldly label, but I only value God and what He plans for me. Thanks for this video Karine!

I can not thank you enough for putting your spin on this. You just opened a whole new world of opportunity for me.
I'm pausing the video as you suggested. I'm a standout in my own right, or a standalone if you will. I adopted this persona as I'm short on close associates. And I don't mind it really. I've spoken to a woman recently, and what she told me stuck with me: she said she's not afraid of strangers but vary of her friends and close circles. Because those who know her maybe jealous and envious of her, or wishing her ill will, while strangers relate to her on a different level which makes her more comfortable to interact with. That rang true for me. Indeed, I myself had a fallout recently with an old classmate of mine. We rekindled our relations in the age of Facebook after 30 years of living on different continents. Chatting on the messenger helped us reminisce. Our conversations weren't frequent, but I reached out to her as often as I could or when I thought there was something worthwhile to share. There were also Facebook posts, mostly on my part. I also sent her packages for holidays, or just because I felt like doing it. I didn't expect any gifts in return. At one time I posted a photo of my vacation without any capture to go with it. I have not notified her that I had been on a trip, as our texts weren't very often. Then later when I had a little time, I sent her a usual "hi, how are you?" text. I haven't heard back from her, but to my dismay I saw a post on her own FB site for everyone to see: It was a meme of something to the effect of "Two things are true about you. When you need something, you have the most patience and when you don't then you disappear" or something like that. It made me realize that her being mum on the messenger while putting this nonsense on her page was a cyber message of sort addressed to me albeit indirectly. I didn't feel the need to ask, explain or mention any of it to her. I waited for a couple of months to hear from her. But nothing. After thirteen years of being on Facebook I thought it was enough, and on a whim, I deleted my account one evening. It wasn't necessarily because of this person, but it happened so. For me it was too much time wasted online and feeling a bit odd when people you think you know all of a sudden have expectations of you which you don't feel justified, you just drop the whole thing without looking back. I do fight for relationships, yes, only when the person and the relationship is highly valued, and it's worth a fight.
I never comment but omg I hadddd to comment…. This is absolutely an amazing video. You helped me and I’m sure you’re helping other women with this information. Thank you!

You definitely shifted my perspective about this book. I felt like it was instilling toxicity. But the way you explain the chapters make me understand it in a different way 💯
This is a great way to explain how messed up the world is and at the end of the day if you want money and power this is how you get it! It sounds cruel but its not if you have the right intentions !!
Good thing I have chose psychology as a career, to help people with mental diseases, addiction to substance abuse and addiction about POWER, rather than use others to my advantage. It sounds tiredsome trying to be in power and ahead of others rather than to help others and have more rewarding feelings for what you do for them than trying to be ahead of them. Although some of the advices here seems to be helpful, to me PEACE is NOT negotiable. If you know what I mean.✌️

@@SoKimistic thaank you! I wish I had your advice sooner! You are absolutely right about that, it's already happened- lessons learned, the hard way!
Great video, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i cant stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just cant, i love her so much, i dont know why i am bring this here for, i cant stop thinking about her.
@jay pritchett wow, how did you get a spiritual adviser, and how do i reach her?
@jay pritchett Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked her up now online. impressive.
think about how she betray you, you will have easy time to forget her and erase her from your mind. make sure to always think of the bad and how it taint any good moment you might have together, and eventually you will assimilate into your brain the idea that even the good moments were bogus, and then you will truly want and be able to forget her for good.
then you can try to get the other relationship and work towards getting in a place you cannot be betray again and even if so it will never affect you.
once is enough if you know the method to bulletproof your soul from such trickery of the other peoples.
@jay pritchett bs bro why would you want her back you fool, you have to move on from her
But she does not want you anymore.
Good luck 😉
Law 1 should be love one another! "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
Wow. This is just a narcissist/sociopath’s handbook. So happy to not live a life this way and that I healed from this type of manipulation and abuse. Took a bit longer with family but it’s nice to still just be my authentic, kind, self but with the awareness that there are people who relish in these games.
And how to avoid them 🥰
Sending authentic loving and healing energy~
How is it manipulation when someone just wants to have a more defined life? You don’t have to hurt others just cause you want to take care of yourself and protect your peace. Straight up.
Hate the game not the player. Being kind and authentic will eventually get you used and won’t get you very far in todays world.
@@tayyibahz9343 Girl you got it, exactly !
@@tayyibahz9343 I believe this book is for those who want be a predator not prey. I agree with the laws of power.
Karine! I SO agree! I read books like this so I don’t get manipulated.
I was such a nieve person.😔 working towards wisdom everyday.💜
This makes you self aware about bad habits and bad manners as well

Your voice is so relaxing 😌 and i liked all your advice, don't even want to share you with anyone 😅
FACTS
Felt the exact same! 69%!
Yes, it's a great book, and the knowledge in it is invaluable but needs to be used with discernment.
Exactly!!
Girl this is why I like you, you’re so real on your approach no sugar coating no nothing. This is why I watch your videos.
Ughhhh i loves this video thanks for puttin in the work n going over every rule im gonna watch it multiple times
Thank you Karine!
I read this book and honestly, I noticed such a huge difference once I started applying them in real life😃
Keep up the good work ❤
My empathy, frankness and innocence.
I listen to this every week!
I agree ….listening to it all sounds very 🤮🤮
Some of these techniques were used by dictators also. It is very interesting but Karine is right it does work sadly
I love this new page for you & for us! 🤗❤️🔥
Me too! I literally get excited just thinking about the topics and books I have coming up 😭😭🥹
@@karinealourdementalgems Me too I know you got quite a few great things up your sleeve
Law 10 is the only one I can't get with. I work very hard and nothing seems to work for me and life beats me down. I keep going but it's hard. Alot of people could never survive what I've been through . That can cause depression. Its easy for others that have an easier life to be happy. Helping people will bless you .
Yet still you are surviving and thriving Valerie!!!
Maybe you have a higher purpose Valerie... That's what I tell myself.
I feel the same way. In fact I’ve said the exact same words to myself.
3 things that make me unique:
-work:
I draw inspiration and solutions from multiple disciplines when I problem-solve.
I listen to opposing ideologies and methods without wavering from my own.
I value my peers outside of their achievements.
- Social circle:
- I nurture my friends however best meets their needs.
- I have friends from all walks of life.
- I truly celebrate and mourn with my friends.
- Relationship:
I whisper life into your goals.
I take pride in being your confidante.
I teach you interdependence in all aspects of life.
You have a way with words...just lovely!
Well said
I’m loving this channel already ❣️✨🙌🏽
Now I know why people at jobs never liked me lol this is crazy. The boss always liked me but my coworkers are always messy.
Why?
AN HOUR LONG VIDEO!? HALLELUJAH!! i KNOW sis is working hardd uploading every single day! The devil works hard but karine works harder! 💟🙈🦋
😭😭😭 thank you love ❤️
This is one of the best summaries of this book I've seen so far. The music is a bit loud but I can still hear the message.
What makes me unique at work:
A genuine smile, hug, and kind word for students and colleagues
What makes me unique in my friendship circle: Checking in on my friends
What makes me unique in relationships: I have been told since my youth that I have a pure heart and a beautiful spirit.
❤ Outside of the Bible this is arguably my favourite book❤
I'm revisiting this video very informative and very necessary!

i had to cut off all on and off toxic relationships. my life is so peaceful now. i overshared with fake friends who turned on me eventually.
Well done using your critical thinking skills!! I have had this book for over a year and scanned through it then set it aside. Thank You for being a Christian and sharing your view points. The whole decryption was so changed by the words you chose. I might be tempted to drink any offering of kool aid from you. I related and I needed that. I recently started a new job and have worried I might not be able to see it through the initial training but after hearing your words I will go back tomorrow with a whole new attitude.
Yes keep uploading these!

Thoroughly enjoyed. This book isn't for the weak. Great video! I think it gets a lot of flack for it seeming deceptive but like me and my moms had a conversation about deception. Seems like a bad wrong, but we're used to it being used a certain way.
Just like with anything, every scenario is different and not every situation is worth energy, but for those that are play the game.
