The second question got me a little confused… but if what you mean is if the RIBBON has to go making a loop around the ankle.. that’s correct, HAS TO GO ALL THE WAY AROUND :))

Can I saw them the same way I did with regular ribbons;
I’m afraid it’s not possible! If you follow this method with regular ribbons you won’t be able to even put them on because they cannot stretch. And if you can they will be too loose to dance on them. I have a blog post with a step by step on how to sew regular ribbons :)
