That’s why there are nursing homes to service the needs of the incapable, you don’t have to break down and suffer along with them. You can still love and care for your incapable elders the healthy way, along with the assistance of the professionals/nurses. It’s a thing to be kind and caring, but smart kindness and caring with brain is better. Many hmoob people have this same mindset when it comes to elderly and disabled cares, because their #1 concern is save face. Ua kom tau ntsej muag. Not smart.
Our Hmong people need to stop asking the children to take care the old parents that can’t do anything for themselves anymore I don’t understand how could Hmong parents want to put their children through this kind of difficulty’s and heartache that’s torture life but yet our Hmong parents are selfish never think about how badly for the young people have to take care of the old parents that they can’t help themselves at all if you love your children then let them have a life don’t make them take care of you when you can’t take care yourself have plenty places that you can go live & some else get pay to take care of you nothing wrong with that instead of making your children suffer a great deal to take care you! I’m not gonna ask my children to suffer that way for me especially when I can’t do anything for myself anymore!
