D Arnold You're welcome! It is a bit strange, I agree. None of the 3 big Goodson-Todman panel shows ever increased the prize money during the CBS years (TTTT, What's My Line and I've Got a Secret). WML and IGAS were never about the prize money, which was always paltry, but TTTT had major money at stake, so you'd think that in the course of a ten year run they'd have considered increasing the prizes at some point.

I read the comments about water drinking by the panelist, what's wrong with water drinking, I have water at arms length 24/7 365 days a year most doctors recommend it and long as you don't over do it like drowning yourself, also celebs who speak alot probably need it for their vocal cords and such!!!!

It's obvious that both the contestants as well as the panel members have been prepared with questions and answers. Which is fair enough but wat annoyed me a little bit is that in one episode of TTTT Bud Collyer claimed that the panel has no foreknowledge about the topics that will be discussed, which was clearly a lie.
TV was so fascinating in those days. When the world watched the same content….. at the same time.
And the next day at school, all the kids would be talking about a particular show we watched the night before. That shared experience is gone now.
And noone referred to stuff as "content" like a robot..... 😬🐑
