The bi-directional link is idd unfortunate. Many tracks only work together in certain order in a specific spot. So I mostly still use mini-set playlist even though I know about the related tracks.
Thank you for your Video, great Tipps. THX I've 1 question, how to ensure the order of the related Tracks? (because sometimes A-> B works great, but not B->A)
The way I do this in Serato is by inserting the name of the track related to the main one in the comments and vice versa. It's rudimental, but it's works.
I tend to do this as well, but often it ends up getting messed up, with characters I write in the comments getting deleted or not fully rendered by the software. I've searched for a fix, but so far, I haven't had much luck.
Hey fellow boppers! Im finaly gettin a decent audio interface. Everybody talks about scarlett focusrite, wich is ob viously a great product!! I came across the Roland Rubix44, and am very interested. However online It never gets mentioned. Im gonna use it for connecting ableton to my ddj800, and for recording etc. Any advice or thoughts anybody?
Hey MMG! Could you tell me how to change the order of tracks within a created playlist on djay pro (ipad)? If i drag song 3 to lets say the top, it wont stay there.
I use track matching intensively. If only Pioneer DJ had given the CDJs in Stand Alone mode a possibility to marry 2 tracks together while playing..........Not having this feature means i have to do it in the after set analysis. Very cool is the fact, that when you create an Edit with edit mode it is automatically related to the original track then. Not so cool that it is also telated to itself with leads to funny results, when you look for matching tracks on a CDJ (the track then is shown multiple times). I will have to open a Ticket about the Bug one day.
On the contrary, if you give each track 3 related tracks and you got a collection of only 100 tracks, then you get an (almost) infinite amount of track orders combinations, that you know all will work.
hey Master g,, good to see ye back again!!
I was never gone my friend :)
Virtual dj has this feature. It's called link tracks
Good stuff

That's something I don't like either, but you cant change it, I mention it in the video (bi-directional)
Top! Dank.

Yeap I do the same in Engine Dj.
@@DJAntenna I use these characters only for the songs that match each other
Ideas for organizing related tracks in TRAKTOR? It's such a good feature!
That would be very welcome indeed
Ok…It would be nice if we could get related tracks that are similar in terms of wave form structure.
What’s the difference in the matching track function?
matching tracks is suggestion based on key/bpm or other parameters, these are tracks you KNOW will work togetehr
Is this also available when you play with usb sticks on cdjs ?
yup most current CDJs support this (but you can't set related tracks, only use them)

for simple stereo audio adaptors for streaming/recording I recommend the Behringer UCA222 (only Behringer product I recommend).
Please tell Algoriddum to add gain inside the sample slots!!! Please!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
If you go onto their forum, they are very helpful
I don't believe there is a way to remove a track that is dropped within the related tracks list for djay on Mac OS.

Tune in the AMA live stream and ask in the chat and we'll have a look during the stream :)
@@MixMasterG I would love to. But I'm busy with my kids around that time 😔
@@tontonie1 hahah good excuse I'll make a note of it so it will be a topic next week
@@MixMasterGthanks! I appreciate it! Keep the djay pro concent coming, there is barely any on TH-cam 😊
NEED SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR SERATO, WHEN????
Ask Serato (but technically a bit hard to implement on Serato due to its database structure)
Is it only for Mac OS?
my apps are only for macOS, but related tracks works on Rekordbox Windows too (not sure about djay Windows)

Yup setting related tracks on CDJs was already brought up earlier and is indeed a feature that would be very welcome.
Doing this will lead to stale and unoriginal sets.
