I finally made it to Acadia! Each day was amazing, but the final moments of my trip ended a bit unexpectedly... Despite that, I have plans for another video much sooner, involving some updates and improvements to the van, and maybe even a peek at a last-minute trip to some fall foliage in New York state! 🍁🍂
I am squeeeeeling with joy that you visited Acadia!! I live in the area. I feel so spoiled to live here. You have filled my heart with joy. You make the most beautiful videos and you did a spectacular job capturing the beauty of the park! I have to admit, I haven't even been to all the trails and I am a native, so theres that! BUT there are so many wonderful trails outside of the park that I frequent with my doggo. Did I mention that I am spoiled to be here? I am so sad for you about the camera : ( I hope you can get it back to working order soon! And Yes, you DID have the perfect day there because you are in EDEN...The most beautiful place EVER!
Dangggg, so jealous you get to experience it all the time, but at least it sounds like you’re taking advantage of it! 🐶 the place really has it all ❤️🦞🌊 thank you for watching!
"Time to put this camera away, bring out the GoPro, and...try to survive." LOL. always so blown away by your solo camerawork, its hard to believe you dont have a crew following you!!!
This is my first video I’ve seen if yours - I can understand why TH-cam recommended it. I consume a LOT of Kara and Nate and Eamon & Bec content. I gotta say, your production quality of your video(s) is amazing! Especially since you’re doing this all solo!! All the other travel channels I watch are couples so they have a “on screen” person and a videographer. Doing it all yourself is soooooo impressive! New subscriber! 👏👏
Haha I really appreciate that - more than you know! Always so jealous that they’re able to have someone get out and film the van driving away, etc, but I’ve got to leave it on a tripod and just pray someone doesn’t steal it as I drive past looool 🚐 thanks for subscribing!
Looks beautiful, suckkkkssssss about the camera bro 💛 Can relate to the “regular person with a full time job” thing, we’re just out here doing our best 🤙
Would love to go there - I'm not sure when I'll end up in the Southwest, but I love how different everything looks there! At least, compared to what I'm used to...
@@LindsayDaly I’d call the southwest an acquired taste for sure 😂 I travel around the lower 48 for work and it always feels like home when I come back. But I’ll keep watching. If you find yourself here eventually it’s an open offer. =]
This was such a fun video. I've only been to Acadia once, but I have a friend who went to college there after growing up in L.A., and it really fueled his passion for forests and the outdoors. And I wish I'd known about that Duck Fat takeout option the last time I was in Portland. It was raining and we did not have time to wait for a table.

I can't believe you posted a video two days before I go there. It's serendipitous, and has me super excited.
Have an amazing time! Looks like you’ll be getting some decent weather, too!
