In this materialistic world where the focus has become running after the whims and fulfilling whatsoever the heart desires, we tend to lose focus on our real goals and begin taking certain matters that are forbidden or discouraged in Islam, too lightly. It was narrated from ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a mukatib (slave who had entered into a contract of manumission) came to him and said: “I am unable to pay off my manumission; help me.” He said: “Shall I not tell you some words which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught me? And if you have debt like the mountain of Seer, Allah will pay it off for you. He said: ‘Say:
اللّهُمَّ اكْفِني بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرامِك، وَأَغْنِني بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِواك
Allaahumma akfini bi halallika ‘an haraamika,
wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaka
“O Allaah! Provide me with lawful (Halal) livelihood, adequate to my needs instead of the unlawful (Haram), and make me suffice with Your graces needing nothing from anyone else”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (3563); classed as hasan (sound) by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.
its about intention brother. if people borrow money and there intention is not to pay if back then hes a thief. but the problem with borrowing money from the modern day system is riba.. so this hadith above doesnt apply. . because most debt today is riba which is a 7 most destructive major sins. and allah wages war on riba and the prophet cursed riba on top of that if the money u got from interest then your food becomes haram . your clothes are haram everything becomes haram. because the issue of money is extremely important.

1) The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to seek protection from it
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to say in his prayer:
“Allaahumma inni a’oodhi bika min al-ma’tham wa’l-maghram (O Allaah, I seek refuge with You from sin and heavy debt).” Someone said to him: “How often you seek refuge from heavy debt!” He said: “When a man gets into debt, he speak and tells lies, and he makes a promise and breaks it.” (Bukhaari and Muslim). Alhamdulillah we uploaded Chapter 6 and 7 Sahih Al Bukhari Book of Oneness ,Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed)

Well if you don’t do that then you can’t get married. It’s a forceful concept to get married. I’m not married yet but i know it’s going to cost me an arm and a leg. I’ll have no choice, if I don’t then no marriage.

Salam valekum people. Wanted to known something that if the debtor tries to settle his debts against and creditor and the creditor agrees and later the debtor clears the dues as per the settlement amount agreed by the creditor which could be 50 or 25 percent of actual amount. All is done. What is the creditor again says after a month or few weeks that pay the rest of the amount. Now I want it. I take my decision back?? What is the ruling in this case. ...?
