Other than unit light up and emergencies, Night shift is normally OK.You will be paid Night shift allowance based on different grades.

I have joined NTPC through GATE. This is worst PSU among all the Maharatna PSUs. Nothing is good except medical. So rethink if you have more options.
Just to clarify, no hate against channel owner. But I don't want new joinees to be misguided.
