Really enjoyed the video. Lifelong Louisiana resident here and I love our swamps! A couple of things: here’s how to pronounce the river: (uh-cha-fuh-lie-a) that’s a fun test we do with people, we like to get them to pronounce our funny names. 😊 This bridge wasn’t damaged during Hurricane Katrina. The bridge you saw destroyed was the Twin Spans over Lake Ponchartrain going to New Orleans. That bridge is about 10 miles longer than this one and is the 2nd largest over water in the world. Used to be first, but those Chinese had to go a little longer. This bridge is in the top 10 longest bridges over water. Thanks for the video!
