Steve Vinik's origami story: The Journey of Joto-Ku

This is a progressive paper folding story of an orphan boy named Joto-Ku in Japan. It is my own story inspired by the story "How Charlie Bought His Boat" in Murray and Rigney's book, "Fun With Paper Folding." I have been telling this story for more than three decades now, mostly during origami lessons in Broward County Libraries. The name "Joto-Ku" was on one of the business cards my dad picked up from a business trip to Japan when I was in high school.
