*Muzzle brake!* My apologies for obviously *misaligning the muzzle brake* in the video. I built it right at first, then made an adjustment before filming and twisted the barrel wrong.
As someone who really loves WWII era gear, I dearly hope that they make more sets set in this era. I don't collect very many MegaConstrux sets, however, if they made more sets to this tier, i would certainly make a special place for a little WWII battlefield.
Hey Jang! You are correct with the weapon. It is the forgotten M1941 Johnson rifle. Chambered in .30-06 Springfeild, it was a close competitior to the M1 Garand, which ultimately lost. Despite pleas for it's adoption by the Marine Corps, it just didn't have the backing by the US Army Ordnance. Although it did see service, most notably in the battle of Iwo Jima, where this weapon was carried by USMC Captain Robert H. Dunlap. He was awarded the Medal of Honor, and up to his death in 2000, he praised the Johnson rifle for saving his life and the lives of his fellow Marines. Johnson was able to sell small quantities of the M1941 Johnson Light Machine Gun to small, special units in the US Army and the Para-Marines. Also, Mega Contrux released their COD Heroes Series 2 out on Amazon! Check em out 😄

The rank on the figure is corporal (which is two chevrons private has one and sergeant has three) and the sniper rifle is either a Springfield 1903 or a garand sniper with a longer barrel
This set got me aggravated at first, because the rod the holds the barrel together snapped under pressure when I was putting it through those parts. I had to substitute some other parts that I had for this step.

I don't know the exact model either but I know it's called a pot belly rifle I've seen and held one in real life they're big and the outfit is not a hundred percent correct but it's decent enough. ( update ) its a m1941 Johnson rifle
why cant mega contsrux just add germans, or even the axis for christ sake, they have only made mostly american troops with no bad guys, and if they really wanted to do ww2 they should add enemies

Totally agree. Just look at the Forces or Valor 1:32 or 1:16 scale WWII figures. Germans, Russians, Italians, British, Americans. It’s all great. But they specifically don’t show swastikas. It can be done! The WWII line is technically a sub-theme of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare line, which is a MATURE, 18+ rated game. It shouldn’t be marketed to kids. Make some villains Mega!
