As an Indian Hindu, I can't explain how beautiful and exotic Balinese Hindu culture appears to me❤🙏
I'm glad that " this kind" Hinduism is still respected in Bali, cause it was almost long gone from Indonesia. I love Hinduism of Bali, cause people/women aren't really limited in doing things they like. You just have to respect each other and nature. Indonesia was a Hindu country since the first century. But slowly vanished when Islam ( muslim traders) was introduced about 1400CE. I hope people respect each other religion. I don't like it when people force others to convert to their religion.
I hope it will stay like this.
Indonesia was originally Paganism (Before there was a religion or kingdom in Indonesia) before the age of civilization (still known as Javaman or ancient humans and known as Sundaland). There are so many who use Dark Arts and worship the supernatural as their life, be it wealth, immunity, mate and others, therefore until now there are still those who study it. However, after the disappearance of Sundaland and Java (ancient civilization and land), religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity came to Indonesia. (This is history in Indonesia).

I think it's really heart-warming to see royal family choose their life partner with their heart, even if they are from a different religion, culture and country. Romance still exists :) I hope beautiful princess Maya also finds the one she loves under all this pressure.

Berly are you vegan? Balinese culture isn't the only country that eats pigs??? Literally everyone everywhere unfortunately consumes pork. it is sad. but the slaughter of any animal is sad to me
@@dw-oc7uj I am vegan. My religion doesn't allow killing pigs, but unfortunatly they murder other animals. I'm sorry, but these people are very evil. They are not only eating him but torturing him. They tie him, torture him while he is screaming and then burn him. and people around are laughing and celebrating? Are they even human?
@Berly But there is no humane way to kill an animal. You don't see the slaughter houses or "farms" kill the cows but that doesn't mean they don't. They kill baby cows just to take the mother cows milk to use in dairy products like ice cream and everything has dairy in it from even cookies and chocolate. I know it looks like the pigs is suffering here but pigs suffer everywhere so do chickens they all have their throats slit or punched with a stun gun. Sheep too. You wear wool? Sheeps are sheered and often their tails cut without anesthesia or any antibacterial liquids to keep the wounds from getting infected with bacteria. Anywhere animal products or animal byproducts are used animals are harmed it's just here they show it whereas the supermarket they don't show it. I think all forms of killing is sad it's just here they show it.
Extraordinary and wonderful. Mystical at the same time. And how utterly stunning and exquisite the new princess is. I hope the couple are able to live a life that isn’t stifled by the expectations of others. But find happiness and the balance the head of the royal family speaks of.

That Pig is not going to be burnt alive, It will be slaughtered and cooked/berbequed respectfully. And all animals screams when they are caught albeit Chicken, goats, cows etc. It doesn't mean they are tortured.

Indonesia's population is more then 267 million. That's almost like the U.S., but the U.S. and Canada are an entire continent. Indonesia shouldn't be more than 2 million. Its a tiny country and because of the over population they destroy the forests and kill the wild life.
Of course China is also a problem and they are very unethical, they eat anything that moves, not to mention all the pollution they create.
Looks like the older brother and his wife got divorced though. Their son is very cute, and seems to adore his mom very much as he posts about her every now and then. They both seem to have moved on into their respective new relationships. Tjok Gde seems to have remarried and has 3 kids with her. While his ex-wife not sure if married or in a relationship but they've seem to be together for awhile too now.

The word “buri upud”
Im a Pacific islander from Micronesia. In my native language “upud”(upwut) means the young coconut leaves which we consider sacred because we use it in sacred ceremonies.
Balinese also using young coconut leaves in ceremonies and many other things.
The coconut tree is like a God tree to us on this tropical island, because we using it for everything especially the coconut.
Frm where i come from during very important meetings we would make lines of young coconut leaves that would go around the meeting place sometimes around the whole village indicating something important is going on in that village therefore no one is allowed to pass thru.

Mereka punya 3 anak, Tjokorda Gede, Tjokorda Bagus, dan Tjokorda Maya.

What we understand about 'The Royal Family'. How this family become Royal? What we understand there are no more Royalties in Indonesia right now.
You should understand that Indonesia was form out of these kingdoms, sultanates and dynasties, these Indonesian kings gave up their privilege to form a republic of Indonesia. The government still respected the royal families around indonesia and thus giving them a right to be king but by custom and protectors of tradition and indonesian cultures
