I'm not even a Trump supporter anymore, but when I listen to Mark Hamill, I want to hear more about his career and not him bashing nearly half the fan base. It's honestly gotten to the point, for me, that it's almost difficult to separate Mark from his characters, because I've been watching his performance as Luke Skywalker and can't help but wonder one thing: "What happened to you?"
@@starwarssith66 Thanks, man. It doesn't matter what our political viewpoints are, we just want to hear our favorite actors talk about their classic characters. So when they talk more about politics, it gets annoying.
after the comment mark made at the convention saying mangas can go force themselves, i definitely have zero respect for male as a gay American man im a manga member because i stand for the freedom of all people. they fore gina for talking about feeling attacked, but mark is openly attacking people and gets no repercussions from it
Disney has clearly bought Mark. dude came out trashing the sequels like no other, he roasted them more than anyone could and now he loves the sequels lol, wonder what the $ amount was, it must have sounded really good. the last person disney wants trashing star wars is Luke Skywalker himself so im sure they paid a lot to have him shutup
Sad, we see the real him. Thankfully I can separate him from his character he played. I’m over the hatred from half the country on both sides. He should be thankful as many who he disagrees with allow him to live off that one hit he made for over 40 years. Keep politics personal, stop being so filled with hate. People are there to enjoy their love of the film. I just can’t respect him as a person. Never meet your hero’s people! You will guaranteed be disappointed.
I never seen someone so ungrateful about his audience that he bashing them for being the side he doesn't like despite charging $400-$700 for his autograph. They didn't come for your politics Mark, they came to see Luke Skywalker and The Joker. Anyone can have any political opinion they want, that's not the problem. The problem is he made it all about politics when it's supposed to be a fan event. He's so into the politics he can't just keep it in for a panel and has to make it political. Even Clint Eastwood (who's autograph starts at $700 of your lucky) is more grateful and doesn't make it all about politics.
@starwarssith66 The problem is it's not a joke. His apology isn't sincere. If this was a one off like the Girl Power joke Margot Robbie did during the Variety interview where there was missing context and Robbie didn't have a X account that was politics stuff all the time, I would understand that it's a joke. The problem is this is Mark Hamil where all he does on his Twitter is politics. That's why people are pissed. He's so invested in politics he makes a "joke" that isn't a joke because he has no self control. People are reaching the point they can't separate art from the artist because he made politics his personality on sites like Twitter and even couldn't hold back and had to make a political joke. I would be saying the same thing if it were the other side. It's dumb to do at a fan expo where you are charging $400 to $700 for autographs. It's look both ungrateful and out of place.
@@starwarssith66He can't make any public appearance without castigating half of his countrymen. It's really not that hard to not bring your politics into a discussion.
I completely disagree with his views, but I'm not offended because I know that he's extremely liberal and brainwashed by the media. I'm not expecting him to be conservative. That being said, it still is an extremely unprofessional thing for him to say. I am grateful, however, that a friend of mine shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him at this con and I am praying that Mark would come to repentance and saving faith in Jesus alone, but in order for that to happen, he needs to surrender his pride, which is going to be very difficult for him, but it's not impossible for God.
I watched the entire video I love hearing him talk about his Career talking about Batman the animated series playing the joker stories about Carrie Fisher no ones ever really gone

What you mean he barely talks about anything political did u watch the entire video
Womp womp, maybe respect other people's civil rights and you won't be excluded
Mark Hamill trying to do a panel without bringing up politics.
Challenge level: Impossible.

Mark is proof social media killed the Hollywood star
How does it feel to support a Jaguars Eating My Face party, my man?
Such a disappointment. He's a shell of his former self.
Giancarlo Esposito calling Grogu a "little, big-eared bastard" is gonna stick with me for a long time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂

It's like he has an uncontrollable nervous tic. Even when he says he won't be political, he gets political. I don't think he has self-control.
💯
I think he's so used to complaining on Twitter that when he's at an event, he no longer knows the difference and lacks self-control.

How did he make it all about politics? He said one joke and apologized for bringing up politics. So maybe less than a minute out of an hour panel.

A truly unfortunate comment by Mr. Hamill starts at 52:37.
He has become that of which Luke wasn't.

Oh hey, I actually met Giancarlo Esposito. Didn’t get the chance to meet Mark Hamill.
I wonder if Disney and Lucasfilm will give Mark the “Gina Carano” treatment :P
Expected a bit more outta that honestly. I medium think I know why he just randomly popped up in Chicago as well, DNC starts Monday…
Lol at trumpers losing their shit in the comments.

“The hero of hero’s Mark Hamill” would have been a cold entrance if he walked up on time. 😂
